I think the couch needs updated and the mattress

Loved the view and the pool looked lovely, we also like the fact that you could cook in the kitchen

I dont feel I got the room type I booked, they looked much better in the photos. There was a sticky substance on the kitchen floor which we tried cleaning ourselves but it kept re appearing. Would have liked to be away from the residents that live there. Will know better if we stay again .

The location of Bay of Palms is excellent, a super quick walk to The Pines shopping centre. The view of the lake from our room was nice. Unfortunately we could hear neighbouring rooms with very loud TV noise. I had no idea that people were actually living in the premises as I thought it was a resort or motel type accomodation. It was comfortable enough for our needs but the photo did not reflect our room type which was disapponting. The pool did look inviting if it was a bit warmer weather.

No complaints about cleanliness but perhaps rooms need a little TLC - ie curtains with thin spots, and fan low speed was very fast. Also little disappointed in meagre bathroom provisions ie soap cakes for handbasin would be helpful.

Location was fantastic - not beach view but close to beaches, small shopping centre and take-away food options. Pool facilities were great and the heated spa was an added bonus for keeping the kids amused. Kitchen and crockery supplies were perfectly adequate and good size fridge. Beds very comfortable.

There is only one thing I would have appreciated and that would be a few more tea bags as I arrived late and had a cup of tea that evening and none for morning until I went to the shops.

We were able to have a downstairs room which was awesome for my aged partner. The room was awesome very spacious and clean and overlooked the pool.

Maybe a small lite continental breakfast snacks, like UHT milk and a couple cereal packets and a few pieces of bread to toast, would of been ideal - but then again, it was so close to the shopping centre... we just had breakfast there...

Wonderful night view to the lake, being able to sit at a conveniently provided picnic bench right outside the room, was just lovely, even with the rain, it was still lovely to sit out there and feel like you were a million miles from anywhere

The rooms were bright at night as the blind didn't cover the window. On the first night, all was okay but on the second night there was loud talking and laughing either on the terrace below or next to us. I had to close all the windows and doors which cut down on ventilation and we could still hear noise at 4am.

The rates are cheap but I really only needed one night and had to book for two. The closeness to The Pines and my relatives was a big bonus.

We were extremely disappointed that we had no TV reception for 90% of the time. We specifically came back to our room on the Thursday 25th April to watch a football game that we watch every year and could not get any reception on the TV. The TV worked the next morning but didn't again that night. The shower flooded the bathroom every time you had a shower as there was no shower door or curtain

It was close to facilities, the room was on the ground floor which was convenient

A few areas are a bit shabby and tired but doesn’t affect the overall convenience and comfort.

Communication breakdown between staff apparently as we ordered a change of towels & left our wet towels for collection alas coming home that night no fresh towels Not happy having a shower & using wet towels to dye one self

There was an induction hot plate but no instructions how to use it. The pans were not compatible with the induction burner so were useless. They expected us to empty our own trash upon vacating the room. And they don't recycle.

Pool area was quite lovely and the view from our room was nice, overlooking a small lake. Room was clean.

Location was so good next to the Shopping centre,that was open after my late checkin. The lady on the night phone was super nice helping get my key out of the lockbox.

Stove was rusty and ancient. Wouldn’t use. Dish wash rack was also rusty. Very dated and tired, in need of a full refresh Did not have the number of lister glasses and cups available.

Good price for a Friday and Saturday night. Handy to supermarket Good swimming pool. Helpful staff Bed was comfortable

Room was clean and the aircon worked very well. Pool was also maintained well, with spa that worked above expectations. Location is great, next to a supermarket and a stones throw from the lake and short trip to the beach.

Grounds / car park area could have been cleaner and shower screen in need of repair. Whilst it is a non smoking room there was a smoking smell in the area.

Prefect spot. A huge lake behind so early morning walks to start the day. Shopping centre right next door. Tropical garden BBQ area and swimming pool. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
