How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There is no food on site so meals had to be sourced outside the resort. We were right next to the road so it was a little loud.
Room was pleasant and cosy. Clean and tidy. It was a great location as we were staying for appointments in Busselton and heading to Dunsborough. The indoor pool was great and heated which was a bonus.

I always appreciate plates and bowls to be supplied and they were not - perhaps something to consider. Not a downfall however!
Large room with very large bed, kitchenette set up had the essentials. Location is a bit out of town so we were glad to have a car and not have to rely on walking.

I couldn't get warm enough but maybe I didn't press enough buttons on the heater remote control.
Fabulous surroundings, very peaceful. The young lady on the reception desk was awesome!

TV is a bit small. Unit attached to neighbours, which is great if it’s your people in there, potential for disturbance if it’s not! Resort does provide you with a mobile to call though, so that was re-assuring.
Great location, short walk to the beach. Room was clean, well equipped with coffee/tea facilities, spa bath & double size shower.

The walls are very thin, we could hear our neighbours talking there tv when they went toilet. We were lucky they were not loud or up all night def needs to be some sound proofing Pillows were very soft and thin
The location was good. Check in was easy. Nice serene area with trees. Room had a very comfortable large bed. Was nice to have some little soaps shampoo conditioner body wash.

The property is located in a perfect location for relaxations. It is just a few walk to the beach. There is a pathway which you can walk along the beach as well. The property is equipped with tennis courts and a swimming pool. We can enjoy if we like to play tennis or relax in the swimming pool.

Beds are very comfortable. Quiet location and lovely grounds. Our 1 bedroom villa is small, but comfortable. We had a problem with wi-fi so staff put in a dongle and no problems since. Recommended as a good place to stay.

Loved the indoor pool. The units were pretty private and spaced out and ideal for our family for a little weekend getaway. Not the most modern but perfectly fine, clean and well fit out. Had all we needed.

The curtains are generally hard to close. Also in the studio rooms with the window right next to the door their is a gap in the curtain. I generally have to slide over a chair to keep it closed.
I stay here regularly for work. Its always clean. I can’t fault the cleanliness and I used to clean hotel rooms. the beds are massive and very comfortable.

Very peaceful ,relaxed and quiet holiday location with plenty of shade from the many trees on site. Great swimming beach and cafe and shopping facilities nearby.
