I was looking forward to a bath which I thought would happen from the room description. No biggie, though. Everything else was fantastic.

I arrived after reception had closed, but they made it very easy to get into my room. There was a letter to explain what I needed to do which was very clear, and they had put the aircon in for me. Though a little bit away from the main streets of town, the Lazy Lizard was VERY quiet, comfortable, and great value for money. It was exceptionally clean, the linen was like new, and I liked the ice machine!!!! I love ice in my work drinks and hate when I can't make ice in bar fridges, so this was a real plus😊

I loved this place! Super comfortable room, everything was so clean, air con and wifi worked really well. Pool was lovely! The staff were so accomodating and friendly. I had such a wonderful stay, wish I could've stayed longer!

Excellent hotel - loved the way that everything had been thought through so that the facilities and inventory were all useful. The pool area was great and it was nice to have the option of using a BBQ. Aiden gave us lots of good information and advice and there were some nice books about Queensland on the coffee table in the room. Nothing bad to say about the Lazy Lizard - thoroughly recommend it. Just wish we'd been able to stay a bit longer...

Service was amazing, Aiden provided us with many suggestions for our trip. A huge variety of extras, towels, bbq, washing services, esky, ice etc. located very close to the Main Street and beach. Quiet. Definitely recommend and would be more than happy to stay again.

Lovely family run motel with spacious rooms, free parking, and an easy 20 min walk, or 3 min drive to the downtown area of Port Douglas. Lady at the front desk is especially lovely and made us feel extra welcome. Had everything you needed to cook a meal in the kitchenette in your room, including an electric pan that you can cook up a meal on, and utensils for cooking. Beach towels were free to use for the day and you could take them on your reef tour and return them when you were finished. DVDs were available to borrow at the front desk to use in your room which I thought was a very nice touch! Beds and pillows were super comfy. Location was quiet and tucked away from the main road. A/C was turned on for us before our arrival and did an excellent job.

It was a nice quite place and so clean and close to everthing.

Room was clean and spaces' clean towels every day, owners were wonderful to us as we got food poising the night before we left from a delivery pizza, we were to sick the next day and missed our flight. Owners could not do enough for us as we were so sick and had to stay another night.
