The room was lacking, the mattress was very low quality and there was nowhere in the bathroom to place things and overall very little surface space in the room. Under the bed desperately needed vacuuming. Because I booked through booking.com I missed out on a 25% off my stay make sure you check their Facebook page before booking.

Very friendly staff, excellent location, very tidy, good facilities, other guests were quiet and respectful

Arriving in early February, apparently the “low season” meant that some facilities, such as the touted “bush bar” weren’t available. Our room was described as a cabin, but the only cooking facilities available were at the community kitchen.

The location close to the National Park was excellent. Apart from the kitchenette the cabin had good facilities.

An awesome place to land near Carnarvon Gorge. Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Great in the off season -

Cabins close together, overpriced for what you get. Glad were we there when the site was mostly empty… it would be very crowded in peak season

Excellent friendly staff, great facilities, excellent useful supplies in the room to be able to cook for ourselves. Grounds well maintained and facilities clean and in good working order

Difficult to pass creek with normal car, we had a short rain fall 1 hour 30mm, which rapidly flooded the creek, fast flowing stream 450 mm deep waters, no vehicles passesd for 2-3 hours. So sensitive location if rain is close.

Bush camping if fantastic National park, calm, close to forest, river and wildlife.

Great helpful staff at a camp with a GREAT location. Not cheap BUT you pay for the location which must present problems of servicing. Loved the evening meals that you could order and pick up and eat at you site or cabin. LOVED the kangaroos that ambled by our site. Sooo cute.

No wifi except at reception area

There was a coffee shop/bar, with the coffee shop open in mornings and bar open for two hours at 4-6pm, which encouraged all the visitors to come and enjoy the bar area and created a great vibe. Multiple kitchens and fire pits. Included options for tents which were really great but I would have preferred a proper cabin, there just were not enough cabins.

Just small things - kitchen facilities broke down - like toaster , microwave , and hot water service - appliances were a bit on the cheap side and weren’t up to the volume of people coming through .

Bbq plates really wonky and ready for an upgrade. Also the gas burners didn't completely light so it couldn't achieve a proper blue flame. This meant slow cooking times and the pots getting covered in soot. Could these be updated too?

Loved the open spaces, and just being at the gorge. Staff extremely helpful in following up with items left behind. Communal kitchen and camp fire made for lovely friendly chats. Plenty of firewood and all the things we needed in the kitchen. Showers were great with strong hot water - perfect to wash off a big day and in the cold weather. Handy little store and cafe.
