Description on booking. Com is wrong. There was no BBQ, no kitchen for guests, no laundry for guests. Unstaffed, breakfast was choice of 3 cereals, 1 type of bread and long life milk. No spoons on first day to eat cereal with!

    Quirky

There was a good selection at breakfast but the scrambled eggs were rubbery and we didn't like the bacon. The group dinner was a delight, great fun.

The stairs are steep and shallow making them difficult for older people. The washbasin a little small and too low. The shelf for toiletries too high.

Old country charm. Huge room and comfortable bed. Has been well renovated.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but were offered accommodation at Ratho Farm at no extra charge. Here we had a room with ensuite in one of the renovated buildings on the farm and later dinner in the main residence.

Beautiful old Georgian style building with very nicely appointed bedrooms. Be prepared for a little bit of wildlife action in the ceilings though possibly only seasonal - birds were nesting inside roofline. Sitting room a beautiful place to relax and wind down. Basic continental breakfast supplied.

The rear entrance of this property doesn’t do it justice but don’t let this put you off.

This charming property has been well renovated but still holds its old world charm. Very comfortable bed and the included breakfast is simple but nice.

All rooms upstairs with steep and narrow steps. Just something to keep in mind if you have heavy large luggage.

Room clean. Beds comfy. This is an old building but maintained well. Such a historic feel to the place. Loved it. Free continental breakfast next morning that we were not expecting. You let yourself in with a code. We ate at the pub in town (walking distance) as Ratho farm had a function. Food was great and big serves. I ordered a soup for entree and could have swum in the bowl. Pub does shut meals early but that seems to be most of Tassie.

That there was no evening meals available We also didn't like the lack of personal touch of someone to greet, check in and be available when there was any issues. Breakfast ran out before everyone had some
