The hostel, like most in Bundaberg, caters primarily for workers, so doesn't have much of a backpacker / traveller atmosphere

The hostel is in a good location, 10 minutes walk from the train and bus stations, as well as lots of local shopping. It is essentially a house with a few rooms and 2 shower toilets, everything is neatly organised. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. The room was clean and the bunk beds are essentially a walk in cubby, with partial privacy curtains and lots of storage space, although not a lot of it lockable. The WiFi signal was strong throughout. Showers and toilets were kept reasonably clean, and water pressure was excellent.

It was evident that the staff were doing their job right. Even if there are only a few one to be exact. She was very friendly and by the clearness of the place does her job well.

We have not seen one staff member, even with arriving before 5:30pm, no one was there. We can hear everything from the bedroom, the isolation is not good.

The rooms are really comfortable, especially with the curtain for privacy.

The property was old & could be renovated the old house in front of.

In the older part needs up graded bedding bunks . Need more cleaning but ok for an older home .

Kitchen is a bit messy, but didn’t use it, so it was fine.

The room was pretty big, just 2 beds, and tidy and the self check in / check out was really convenient. Just 5 min walking from the bus stop, so it's really good.

On the evening of my arrival, the bathroom and kitchen were quite dirty. But I think that's mainly because people just left their dirt behind, as the next day was cleaned and everything was clean afterwards. The room was very clean.

I stayed in a two-bed room, which I found very charming. I loved the communal vibe in the hostel, the uncomplicated organization and the friendly staff. Washing machine, dryer and detergent can be used free of charge.

The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and the facilities weren’t the cleanest but overall okay.

The staff here are lovely and the facilities are decent. It’s nice to have blinds on the bed for extra privacy and the long-term people are really nice. Good location to Greyhound bus stop and shops.

Our room had a large window with no curtains leading into the kitchen so it was very bright in there if the lights outside were on. There was also a huge gap above every door which was essentially a hole in the wall leading into the communal space. Our door faced the kitchen meaning that if anyone was in the kitchen, it sounded like they were in the room with us. No noise muffling at all! So it can get noisy and light in the rooms, not great for a sound sleep.

Bunk was comfortable. Had a privacy curtain and sockets by the bed. Plenty of space around the top bunk for belongings which I don’t always find at hostels. Staff were quick at communicating via booking.com messages.

A lot of mess in the 12 bed mixed dorm, most people where long term so it wasn’t a very social vibe- I would recommend staying in the smaller rooms as they seem to be more for the short term stays. One of the kitchens was also always a mess

The bunks each had plugs light and curtains for privacy almost felt like your own room. Bathroom were nice when clean. We did manage to meet some nice people and explore bundaberg
