We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaThe mattress had a dip in it and was uncomfortable. I was a room away from the kitchen and when trying to settle down for the night the voices coming from the kitchen were very loud especially the conversations. It was like the people were in the room with me shouting at each other.
The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. The meal in the restaurant was fantastic. Although an older property in need of refurbishment the room was clean.

AustraliaIn haste I booked the wrong date. There were only 2 left. When trying to cancel, I made a phone call that same night. No answer. Made a phone call again early next morning. The person responded with “No refund as we have to pay commission to Booking.com.” I then let them No that we will not be there so they can book it out to someone else.
