Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We had an issue with our reserved parking space in the carpark which was not the properties fault. Might be a good idea to emphasise to guests to only park in the space allocated to them.
The location was excellent. Room was very clean, cosy, quiet & comfortable. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, coffee shops.

We liked the concept and the interior was well laid out. It was nice to have an outside sitting area. It was an easy walk into town with a 10 mins walk to Woolworths just down the road. A good place to eat is Metz a 5 mins walk down the road. We also were able to use the parking garage which was very handy.

Hallway lighting & lift was very slow
Excellent accommodation. Perfect city position, convenient to all Launceston has to offer. Secure undercover parking a bonus. Only negative was it was really dark & a bit spooky on entry into hallway, but this soon dissapated on entry to the lovely apartment. Great selection of mini bar options. Facility to order meals that are left in your fridge (delicious). Finally the feel good aspect of a portion of your payment being directed to charity. Thoroughly recommend

Perhaps each room having an air-conditioner but really not that much of a problem at all.
Location was excellent and the amenities were fine. I particularly liked the mini-bar provisions and the concept of "paying what I like" Given the concept behind the hotel I think this is a great initiative.

The entrance is a little harder to find, especially if you arrived in the dark. The entrance stairwell is a little disconcerting for the first time.
Great location, plenty of space to share with others. Very comfortable beds & bedding.

Found the music in the hallway a bit depressing. We had trouble with our access code on several occasions but staff were very responsive and replaced batteries.
Lots of space, very modern, beds very comfy, really well set up, staff were lovely and quick to respond. Liked the concept of the charity organisations.

The bed configuration was incorrect but a quite email to the owner had it fixed very quickly with no fuss.
Location was excellent. Facilities excellent. Corridors etc are all painted black but the rooms themselves are fresh, bright and relatively new.

A small and personal thing that hasn’t affected my rating of this property - I hated the corridor. It was black, dim and had a constant noise that reflected a street scene in a third world country. I think a person with disability might be affected by this - physically and emotionally?
The location was perfect. The parking arrangements were easy. The apartment was so lovely and well equiped. We had a couple of issues which the manager and housekeeper responded to quickly and professionally. We loved the social enterprise concept and were glad to support this. The shower in the apartment was the best in Tassie.
