The reception staff were so helpful and lovely. The bed was as soft as a cloud with high quality linen. Great location with walking distance to Flinders St Station and the CBD. Tram stop outside the door. Large comfortable apartment. Quiet rooms as double glazed. This hotel will now be our regular Melbourne accommodation option in the future.

Location was perfect by the river, staff, especially Michael Gibbs went out of their way to help, on the doorstep basically of the free trams in the cbd, close to a coles supermarket,. If in Melbourne again we would definitely stay with clarion.

AustraliaThe location meant you literally above the train line heading to and out from Flinders Street so it is very noisy. The tram track is below and you can also hear people walking to and from nightspots at all hours of the night. But we expected this. The neighbours last night woke us up several times with there being very apparent paper thin walls. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well. The sheets were slightly dirty and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
Location of the room was terrific with great views over the river and up towards the MCG. The fire display at the Crown is just outside the window. The MCG is a 30 minute walk away and Bourke Street mall is about 20 minutes away. Many good food options are nearby.

Amazing view from my room, very friendly and accommodating staff and felt very comfortable. Onsite parking very convenient. Great location, easy access to anywhere in the CBD and Crown and Exhibition Centre etc. Sufficient space for Uber drop offs at the front. Indoor heated pool also a bonus.

AustraliaNothing significant. Being nitpicky, the bathroom was a little small (compared to the vast living space) and had outdated decor,, but it was still entirely fucntional and clean.
Location (between Southbank and Southern Cross train station) was perfect for my needs. Reception staff were pleasant and very helpful. Room was very spacious and had everything I needed. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but it was conveniently located adjacent to reception, and made good coffee.
