Nothing was ok! Had really bad experience in room 9. Came from NZ, checked in late at 1am night, and checked out at 5am. So dirty. Bed sheets smell! Security sitting outside was no noisy and drinking! No parking, had to park far. Easy marking money. What is tourism australia doing? They should inspect and stop the accommodation business operation!

The whole place was just run down, everything was dirty, airconditioner was full of crap, PowerPoint's had no covers, carpets were filthy, small cockroaches everywhere $430 for 4 nights was robbery. The health department should look into it

The hygiene standards of this room were absolutely appalling, with a huge cockroache in the bed that crawled on us while sitting on it and one in the bathroom/toilet, these were found a couple hours after arriving. We immediately packed as it was a disgusting feeling and, on our way out, talked to the manager. They were rude and not helpful. After further inquiries into this matter through booking.com to the motel, they have had the nerve to accuse myself and my family of fraudulently booking a room for the sole purpose of using it for a couple of hours only as in the short time using it, the shower was used and a kfc wrapper was left, also the bed was used(obviously the covers were pulled back to check for more cockroaches). My family are honest people and take great insult to the way this motel has dealt with this matter. Their excuse was the location is the best and it's budget accommodation, this is no excuse even budget motels/hotels have standards higher than this place and falsely accusing a family that is well known for their charity giving and supporting their local community over the last few years definitely takes the cake. We will never stay here again and will definitely not be recommending this place to anyone.

I’m under no illusions. I know that for the price I paid, the room wouldn’t be akin to a Persian palace but it would’ve been nice if it at least looked clean and well maintained, it wasn’t. The bed was just two single mattresses pushed together, very uncomfortable and this was the most disappointing issue of my stay.

No meals available. Room condition, cleanliness/condition of bathroom poor, numerous power points inoperative. Venue appears to be in need of a complete renovation.

The price, it's in a great location right in the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. It maybe be a bit old and nothing to look at but it's clean, and has everything you need. I will be booking this property every time I'm in Brisbane
