We were in the wrong room which was still absolutely fabulous and it cost less than the room we were supposed to stay in. However we felt that the hosts blamed us for taking the wrong room, but when the key box code you are given unlocks the key boxy to the room you can only assume that was where we were supposed to stay! The hosts unfortunately refused to refund us the $200 difference which we felt was a little unfair.

The view was fabulous and the room was beautifully decorated. Beds were very comfortable. We would recommend it as a place to stay.

Oh my gosh this place was just delightful. The hosts have thought of everything. From the breakfast basket to the pillows to the views - it exceeded our expectations. They were kind to extend our checkout after we arrived late due to an unexpected visit to ER. Will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful property. Room was very nice with excellent amenities. Lovely touches include, included eggs, bread, milk and juice. Bar fridge had completely beers and soft drink.

Cannot abide doonas but no alternative blankets were available so we were too hot and had one sleepless night. Had to use three sheets in lieu of the doona on our 2nd cold night. We should not need to bring our own blankets with us. No seated desk indoors to accommodate my laptop. Kitchen facilities were very limited for breakfast, yet we were provided with a breakfast hamper starting kit. For example, no cooking element to boil eggs and a tiny table from which to eat our breakfast. Too cold early morning to eat at the larger tables available outside.

Loved the location and privacy as well as the roominess of the cabin. Visually, a gorgeous place due to the scenery.

It’s by the main road, feels a bit like part of the motel next door. Didn’t get any instructions and no one there at check in which was a shame as everything else was great.

The only thing I could mention is the Matt under the bed . For most people this is not a problem but for my husband it was a trip hazard as he has mobility issues .

We love everything about the Homestead We have stayed there in the past and will continue to stay again . Staff are friendly and happy to assist. Breakfast is delivered to your cabin fresh eggs , cereal juice milk all delivered daily in a basket to prepare in your cabin You can help yourself and not rush out . Sit back and enjoy the beautiful countryside on your verandah. The Homestead rooms are large and the bathroom is spacious with lovely products .

The cottage and property was absolutely stunning, the breakfast basket was a beautiful touch as was the mini bar. They make coming away easy…everything you needed and more was there so you only needed to pack your clothesn
