    My wife and 3 month old son weren’t allowed to check in without my photo ID. The room was already paid for and she had the card that paid for the room. You can board an airplane without photo ID. Also if you have a car over 2 metres tall the car park will be locked and inaccessible at night an early morning.

    No dislikes from me.

    The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms were spot on. And staff service was excellent. Restaurant menu had a great selection. Beverages a generous selection. Restaurant area is comfortable, and a great public area to relax also. Breakfast has a good variety and convenience for anyone heading out first thing in the morning.

    Your false advertising with your photos of the bathroom.

    Booking.com posted false and misleading information, booking.com is terrible and will never use your system again.

    Our room was full of ants which was really off putting , we stayed 2 nights and there was construction going on in the hotel which was fine but along with the room being swarmed with ants made for a disappointing stay. There was also no food available throughout the days or evenings we were there , it’s a good location and staff were friendly but definitely wouldn’t stay again

    Room was very average and the walls were paper thin, only slept about 3 hours due to the people in the next room being up talking loudly. The soundproofing is terrible.

    Room 232 should not be used for accommodation. It surrounds the lift on two sides and as patrons return to their rooms at all hours in lively St Kilda we had around 3 hours during the night where the lift was not in use. Our rest was constantly interrupted between 10 - 2 and 5-8 on a Saturday night/ Sunday morning by the sound of the lift in operation.

    If you want 4* facilities, this is not the place. If it you’re just after a bed near St Kilda, great.

    It sells itself as a 4* hotel. Having a gym doesn’t count as 4*. On my arrival, after a 30 hour trip, I got to my room, no bottled water, tap running brown. No safe so I am faced with carrying my passport/ cash around with me for five days. There was a restaurant, never saw it open. There was a bar, never saw anyone behind or in front of it. They have a sandwich / wine bar attached nice but not 4* by any stretch of the imagination.

    Primarily the location combined with some great staff.

    Why to provide 150 dollars when I arrived for a stay in an hotel? Why to be submitted to room control before checkout. Does not make sense. Never seen this behavior in another hotel.

    The room smelt mildewy and stale. The light was to bright in the bathroom. The pluming - pipes had a smell. Had to turn on aircon. Upon checkout which was requested of a late checkout being 11am. Had someone from reception banging furiously about 10.50am while already stated on a late checkout. I was already packed,ready to leave. The reception was only 2-3 minutes from the room. This was in the morning of Friday 21 February 2024. Double checked with another receptionist upon checking out if it was noted. She had told me yes it was. The communication upon staff or clarification when it is noted. Is poor.

    Everything. 1. The customer service is terrible 2. The parking was not as described to me on the phone. My car was on an angle in a terrible spot and we got the last park after calling and trying to book a spot weeks ahead and being told it wouldn’t be necessary because there is plenty of parking. Probably the smallest and most dodgy carpark I’ve ever been in. 3. The hotel was disgusting. My room had an old toilet roll in it that had someone’s faeces inside the toilet roll which I didn’t realise until I’d touched it. 4. The room smelt terrible and was extremely dusty. I was sneezing the entire time. 5. Room hadn’t been cleaned. There was people’s hair and ants all over the place. 6. The room was freezing because they had the aircon on (obviously trying to clear the smell) and it didn’t warm up until the morning. 7. The price was ridiculous for what we experienced. This is not a four star hotel. It is barely a two. Worst of all was the customer service. All of my emails and messages here have been ignored regarding compensation. I have spoken with countless people and they all tell me different stories. Some say it’s gone to management and others say that management must not agree with my case when it hasn’t been escalated at all and no one is contacting me. I can see that this has been an issue for other unhappy customers. Do not stay here! These people will avoid resolution. I gave them the chance to fix it and I was told today to take it further if I wasn’t happy. I will be doing so.

    Everything was great. All staff were excellent from Reception to Cleaners and the Maintenance staff. Before booking this hotel I read the reviews and a lot of them were negative to say the least, but those customers must have been at another establishment as I honestly could not fault this hotel. The hotel also has a café which served great coffee and snacks. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
