A wonderful location with exceptional views. The house was cosy and well kitted out. A mixture of modern and old world. Cooler at the time of our visit, so the fire was a nice plus. We enjoyed taking our dog for walks in the local area and Blackheath centre is just a short drive away. The house was a perfect holiday haven. Everything was as per the online description and yes we shall definately make a point of going back.

There was no off street parking and the location is not convenient for shopping as it is some distance from centre of Blackheath and of course quite a hilly walk. The third party rental meant going through another set of identity and cc approvals which we felt left us open to identity fraud.

Beautiful views from the top deck. Well renovated and provided all self catering needs. Quiet location. The house is very comfortable and roomy. Once we had satisfied the rental security check the communication re key was easy.

The view and the family feel. The house is warmly decorated with all facilities needed. Perfect yard for our dog, too. It’s close to starting point of our planned bushwalking trail. We didn’t end up going on that trail due to wet weather, but we enjoyed some easier walks with our dog in the blissful mountains. We also enjoyed the family time in upstairs lounge playing card games while it was wet outside. Owner and property manager were very friendly- you can see it in what was provided in the house and from friendly communications. Thanks for the stay ☺️

Our stay was too short.

This property is superb! We loved it so much, we’re already talking about a return visit - two nights just wasn’t enough! Lovely bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge rooms, kitchen and dining rooms. So much packed into one house. The outlook is stunning; the area is stunning, and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do including the Jenolan Caves, and abseiling at Katoomba. A fantastic BBQ and cooking facilities make it an overall perfect experience, but there’s also superb dining options in close proximity. We asked for a couple of considerations, and the generosity of the host was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and will definitely be back.

There was no lock on the laundry/bathroom door. The sewer in the main bathroom with the spa was blocked. The shower water was rising and not draining and the toilet water would rise high when flushed and would take time to go down. We couldn’t use that bathroom which was a hassle when you have five adults wanting to use the toilet and have a shower.

The place was very clean warm & inviting. We loved the views from the rumpus room upstairs. Plenty of space for the five of us.

Not much you can do about it but the upstairs room & balcony was very hot from the afternoon sun.

Terrific view out over Megalong valley from the upstairs room. Wonderful.

Wish we stayed longer

Heaters were left on for us as we arrived, Amazing location to watch the sunset from the upstairs living room, great space to get away and relax as area is very peaceful, Great value for money, Provided with all supplies for the fire pit, Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms, Tv has Netflix and YouTube, Overall lovely stay would definitely stay here a second time. 10/10
