Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The fridge was quite small, OK if you're there for 2-3 nights though
Good motel with off street parking in the centre of Bellingen. The rooms are at the back of the pub, so although the place is on the main road the rooms are quiet. Diggers has a large bar and a bistro that serves a good variety of food at competitive prices.

The main bed was a little hard and took a while to get to sleep. Shower leaked all over the floor. Could do with a microwave in the room.
Was a great little town and good spot for a few night stays. Would stay again if up that way again.

I think the price point is a little high. I paid $165. I would expect to be paying arund $140 to $150 for a country town motel.
Location was perfect, close to everthing with ample parking. Complementary breakfast in the room was generous.

Great stop in Bellingen! Very high quality motel, the room was big and clean. The staff was very friendly. Appreciated the complimentary breakfast bites in the room. A perfect stay if you plan a stop along the waterfall way.

It was a little confusing when we first arrived as there's no dedicated reception area, but it wasn't too difficult to work out as they had sent us instructions on how to enter.
The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were lovely. I was a little concerned about the location before we arrived but it's not too far off the highway and the town was gorgeous. Overall, I loved staying here and we will be coming back.

24 hour access to rooms from Main Street on level ground
Good position in middle of town quiet being at rear of building.Main access at rear with a lot of stairs .Access can be gained during opening hours through from front which is level. On site Bistro meals very nice .

ALL OUT OF THE FACILITIES CONTROL….due to the work in the carpark the risk of hurting yourself when entering the building after hours especially when having to walk from the church carpark down the steep driveway in the dark along a narrow dimly lit road and the back up the same hill via a few small sets of stairs. this is something people with any disability or using mobility aids i.e walking frame, wheelchair this is definitely not suitable and people need to be aware so they can make allowance if planning on enjoying one of the many beautiful restaurants in the town
the location due to it being a great spot to set out exploring from on my two day stopover in Bellingen. Loved the juice poppers in the fridge due to not being at tea or coffee drinker this was a lovely added bonus that I have never had before.

Only down side was the work going on next door no fault of Diggers though.
Clean,comfortable accommodation in town centre. Great meals from bistro and nice people. Won a ham in the Friday night raffle.you bewdy

The noise from next door. Noisy / smoking workers next door right outside room from very early in the morning. Walking through bars to get to and from room /car. The parking. People banging doors late night/early morning. The cleaner bursting in the room with "do not disturb" on the door. The smoking that happened outside bathroom windows that don't close. The night security light that illuminated room all night. Needed to close bathroom door all night to block out some of the lights.
The ladies (at the bar) we met on day one and two were very helpful and very friendly. No road noise.

Beds were uncomfortable. No microwave. Access via scaffolding due to renovations was not mentioned when making a booking.
Great meals in the Bistro. Central location to town. Clean linen and towels. Continental breakfast provided.

Nothing really. They aim to please.
Well located near centre of town. Access is generally through the bar. Currently there are major works underway but this did not impact our trip. We have stayed here a few times...it's reliable and cheap by Bellingen standards.
