We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaHad trouble with the keypad. At one point I had to apply the door code ELEVEN TIMES before it allowed me in. I was beside myself with panic as all my valuables were on the other side of the door. Someone woke up the house with a noisy exit around 3am.

It was smelly, the ppl living there treated us Luke vermon, we has to whisoer ti communicate to each other as the lady next door constantly banging on the wall telling us ti be quiet. The bathriom was a mess and we were told we would get a refund and still haven't been paid that. We used the last of our money to stay there fir 3 nights and as we had to leave because we got complained about for being loud. Which we weren't. The lady just expected us to sleep and not enjoy our 3 yr anniversary and we had a couple to drink. Weren't drunk, just happy we cmgot thr marching orders to vacate thr property. I was told that it happens quite often. .mainly ti aussie ppl. Thr rest of the ppl there were all Asian.

AustraliaThe shared areas were filthy, and the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in months. It was so gross that I waited until I was home to shower. I tried to get onto the urgent line as the door malfunctioned, NOBODY answered, so I asked for a refund and to check out early. Another resident had to help me out with my room. Apparently, the door malfunctions, and despite saying "unlocked," you can not open it unless you move the handle up instead of down when it gets stuck. This is not a consistent feature of the door, as it had worked as normal the previous evening. This would have been fine if the property had told me about this in advance, but they didn't. If not for the other resident, I'd have been locked out of my room (due to a faulty door) until at least 9 am, which is unacceptable customer service. The walls are like paper, but I wouldn't have minded if not for all the other stuff.
The room itself was clean.

IndiaFirstly, I will never book this properly again. while the room sizes were big and clean, the whole experience has been pathetic and booking.com is equally to blame for it. on reducing the stay, I was told i will get full refund for 2 days but the final amount was like 10% of it. 4 long calls and 3/4 messages with Booking, there is no resolution. booking. com is happy to put the blame on the property. overall a nightmarish experience and the blame is more on booking. com and its agents. Even after pointing out on first day that knob of hot water is broken, it wasn't repaired for the 6 days i stayed. Imagine using could water when temperature is close to 10%. Common garbage was never cleared and just kept accumulating. even the apartment was cleaned at irregular intervals
