We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaFridge was empty no complimenray bottle of water, no mineral water, had to go downstairs bar to buy some. Some breakfast tables had a kind of sticky feeling on my elbows: The ones on higher level with a varnish surface, otherwise clean.
Good location, clean, very friendly staff. Taxi call with a pushbutton in reception. Clean bedding and sheets. Continental Breakfast how it should be.

Location was good, breakfast was adequate, there was no milk at the buffet for 10 mins and we were charged a public holiday surcharge on a normal Monday morning.

United KingdomAir conditioning in room made everything feel damp so was difficult to dry things when it rained and we were unable to adjust settings on the controls.
Breakfast was lovely and take-away boxed for day of departure worked well for us. Extras such as cookies on arrival, ponchos & use of towels was also helpful. Reception staff were friendly and extremely helpful e.g. refilling water bottles was a nice touch.

AustraliaCurtains didn’t completely cover windows - not serious but allowed light into the room at sunrise.
Room was spacious and we had a lovely view of the esplanade and water from our balcony. Best pool area we’ve experienced in Cairns with sun all day so water was a great temperature and plenty of sunbeds - would stay again for this reason alone. We took up the upgrade offer to a water view/balcony room for a very small cost. Bed very comfortable and bath towels huge and fluffy. Enjoyed the updated bathroom. We didn’t eat at the hotel but enjoyed the biscuits. The hotel has a nice tropical vibe. Location was perfect with only a short stroll to cafes, restaurants, bars, Aquarium and lagoon. Check in/out was a breeze and staff very professional. Very good value and we hope to return soon.

AustraliaThe house keeping service was not what was expected, rooms were made everyday, however the bathroom shower and sinks were not cleaned and the carpets in the room were not vacuumed. We even found a sowing needle when our child got pricked by it in the foot. The room we were given was run down with the laminates on the furniture chipping, and had to pay extra for a room which was a bit more fresh n refurbished.
The location was perfect, the staff were exceptional and helpful in every aspect.

AustraliaThe internet connection was not accessible. We followed the instructions given to log onto the hotel internet, but it didn't work. We ended up using our own 5G internet connection from our own service provided.
We like the spacious room. In addition, the location of the room is quiet, which makes our stay wonderfully comfortable and relaxing. Most of all, the hotel staff were immensely helpful and friendly.

A tropical style, well positioned and well maintained neat hotel located in prime position in Cairns within 5 min walking distance to the Esplanade, bustling restaurants and bars. Magnificent sea views from our room. Couldn’t have been happier with our upgrade to a top floor sea facing ocean front room! Loved the layout! And the walk in shower. Thank you to the staff who were always smiling, helpful and willing to give you free cookies every time my husband visited the reception desk.
