Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThere was nothing we didn’t like.
Pujan at reception was so accommodating and kind. The beds were comfortable and sheets soft. Crabtree & Evelyn products smelled amazing. The warm cookie was a total bonus.

AustraliaFor the price paid, complimentary water bottles should be provided, The cleanliness of the room needs improvement. Specifically, benches should be wiped down to remove any remnants from previous guests (such as stubble under the sink), pillows should be checked for cleanliness and ideally replaced if they are old or stained, in my case had blood on the pillows. dust should be removed from lamp dead insects should be promptly cleared (the same fly remained for three days despite housekeeping visits), and shower should be free of hair from previous guests.
Staff were friendly. Great car park as it is close to Hotel. Good location.

AustraliaNo idea if it was from the ventilation in your hotel or one of the buses we travelled on the day of arrival, but we both simultaneously picked up a severe respiratory infection and were extremely ill by the end of our day there. Please check your filters and the functioning of the system! We are now home and still quite ill after losing the next three days of our holiday which we spent in bed.

AustraliaA little outdated appearance on the outside of the building. The long distance from elevator. On arrival a split level room was given with no prior warning- had to go back to reception to be given a normal room.

AustraliaPoor water pressure from shower. Noise from ground floor reception (talking, yelling, kids running around) comes up through the centre atrium so can be heard in your room at night. We were on top floor and it sounded like we were in the foyer ourselves.
Good location. Comfortable bed. Friendly.

AustraliaWhen I asked a staff member about a toilet brush I was informed that we pay to have the toilet cleaned every day, and brushes are not something that should not be in a hotel room. However, I disagree. Toilet brushes are a fact of life, and no matter how well intentioned one is, mishaps do happen. If they need renewing regularly, so be it, our tariff for the room should cover a toilet brush. I don't like having to access the Hotel information via the TV screen and I don't think I actually read the information at all. I would have thought there might be a jug of water for the kettle, or at the very least a bottle of water. People from unchlorinated water areas do not adapt well to tap water. Even though the bathroom was great, quite a lot of water managed to get from the shower recess onto the floor area where you walk after your shower. There did not seem to be an exhaust fan. On something I read (printed) there was a note about changing towels etc. We hung our towels up every day, expecting to reuse them, but they were replaced. I think the towels are too big (for me as I have issues with my arms) On the last day the bathmat was taken and not replaced at all. I thought the lighting in the room was fairly poor. As much as the restaurant was lovely and the breakfasts were magnificent as said before, we had paid a premium for the room with breakfast included - Over $300-00 a night. When booking there was no provision to re-book or cancel, which I thought was a bit harsh. (Of course it was holiday time) We had a nice evening meal on the Wednesday night, but on the Thursday we went to the Mindel Beach Markets for tea and came back and I had a dessert which was very underwhelming for $15-00. I don't normally do surveys, because I think establishments only want to hear positive things, and not negative. My husband would be horrified if he knew I was saying all this. He complains about nothing.
Did not use the pool. Breakfast was magnificent - too many choices. The little safe in the cupboard was good - easy to use and functional. Nice and quiet. I did like the large and numerous towel rails in the bathroom.

AustraliaVery run-down. They didn’t have enough doonas so offered extra sheets to keep us warm instead. Eventually they found us a blanket. The sliding door to the bedroom was broken when we arrived - which we then fixed but it kept coming off it’s hinges. The pool area smelled like off milk.
Nice breakfast. Good location.

AustraliaPool a little cold, had to ask for things to be replenished in our room like refilling shower gel, shampoo and conditioner on separate occasions plus tea bags. Was followed up immediately but was a nuisance.
Location was perfect, cocktail specials were a winner, breakfast was generous and plenty of variety. Rooms clean and generous sized plus the bathrooms were modern and clean.

SwedenThe fact that the hotel run kids party at the pool area on the saturday afternoon when the hotel guests have planned to relax at the pool and paid for their weekend getaway is not acceptable. If the hotel wants to earn some extra money on pool partys they should have a separate pool for that occasions, and not mix it with the hotel guests pool. Hotel guests want to have piece and quiet.... Who wants to have 10 screaming kids in the pool when you are on vacation? Terrrible. And due to the pool party the pool towels were out of stock for the paying hotel guests.
The location was great. The beds were very comfy, and room was clean. It was very good quality breakfast. Parking was included in the room price.
