I accidentally booked the wrong room for a friend, but one of the staff members was kind enough to rebook me on the spot with one room knowing that it was a last-minute change. Everyone was very kind and amiable from the beginning. It was my first time at Cairns and I would love to come back and stay at Dreamtime.

Nice hostel, a bit far for the city center, but still walking distance. A woolworth is also 10 min walk and you can cook your own meal in one of the hostel kitchens.

I loved that it was quiet, the ambiance , how clean it was and beautifully decorated. This is such a nice hostel. Compared to the other big hostel in Cairns this one was magnificent no party no screaming people everything perfect and calm and how beautiful it was . Thank you for the amazing stay although it was short .

Clean and safe hostel, really lovely staff and good location for greyhound stop with a short walk to town. The beds were comfy and the hostel was really quiet in the evenings. Would recommend!

Hot water runs out quickly. If you want to shower using hot water, you have to shower early.

Location is awesome. Near the Cairns Central. Nice and kind staff. Free street parking next to the hostel.

The most peaceful, warm and welcoming place I have ever been. The people who are working there have always been so supportive and available for any needs. The place is very clean and everyone is very respectful. There are a lots of spot in which you can spend your time. If I will be ever come back in Cairns, I will definitely stay here, the home in which I left a piece of my heart.

Great hostel, really peaceful environment. The location is perfect, a bit out of town but close enough to fully enjoy Cairns. Thanks to the amazing staff, my friend and I loved our stay at Dreamtime!

Convenient location, could walk into the main areas and had a supermarket/ shopping centre very close and good for getting the Greyhound from the property Tim was really helpful for organising day tours and giving local advice Kitchens and room were very clean

One minor inconveniences were the little fridge space. Everything I had, I was able to fit in but it was a tight squeeze. And the hostel is a 20 minute walk from the Esplanade.

The owners were very nice! The place feels like a home more than a hostel. I was in a female dorm and it was very nice. Only single beds, so no bunk beds. It is a very wonderful and cozy hostel. Definitely would stay there again!

It truely is a place for dreatime traveller's rest! Arguably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. It is peaceful, there are plenty if kitchens and bathrooms to use, so never crowded, even at the weekend. Common areas are pretty and well set, bed comfortable. All you need!
