Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Australiawe were up for the interschools weekend, many of the days the kids needed to be at the event at 8.45am, and the staff would not open the kitchen for breakfast early. So often the kids missed breakfast. As breakfast was basically toast and cereal it would have been very easy for the breakfast facilities to be open early to accommodate most of the guests needs

AustraliaIt wasn’t very clean - the bathroom floor was covered in the previous guests hair. The light from the TV (even when turned off) was so bright and shone directly towards us when we were trying to go to sleep - had to cover it up with a scarf.
Helpful staff and good location right near a shuttle station. The free breakfast was nice and a great way to fuel up for a day of skiing. Having the ski hire within the lodge made it really convenient as well. The drying rooms were much appreciated and we were very grateful to be able to store our luggage in the storage room after we checked out.

AustraliaIt felt like a backpacker accomodation not something that was costing $600/night. To be honest I’ve stayed in much nicer backpacker accommodation than what this place offers. Average room, very small bathroom. Quite run down. No heaters turned on in the dry room. Even though it stated it would be warmed at certain times of the day. So snow gear could not dry. No table in the room, so trying to get some computer work done was awkward. Couldn’t even use their lounge area downstairs as it only opened from 5pm. So had to resort to sitting on the bed to get some work done.

AustraliaEven if its free. there are quite limited food options for breakfast. They should include bacon, or eggs at least.
The proximity of the place, 5-10 min walk to the Village centre.

SingaporeWhilst there is an on-site restaurant (which is good when you don't want to venture out into the village in the evening), it is quite pricey (minimum is a 2 course set meal) - the food is delicious but it's probably not where you want to eat every night. The lounge/bar is just a room with a few sofas, and the 'bar' facilities is only open when the restaurant is, so not all together conducive to a fun place to hang out and have a few drinks. The twin room is fine but it's one queen bed with a single bunk above it with not much space - would be very cramped with three people, and if you're two friends staying together then just be aware one bed is the single bunk suspended over the queen. Staff are all predominately on working holidays (to be expected in a ski village) so service was a bit hit and miss - some were friendly and very helpful, whilst others were clearly not interested and just wanted to be out on the slopes themselves, again this is to be expected in this area so can't really complain but just be aware and not expect top class service.
Great ski hire on the property - very easy and convenient to get organised for the slopes on arrival, good ski room and drying room facilities. Shuttle bus stop right outside accommodation, and a moderate walk into the village that was completely fine when not in ski boots. Room was clean and completely acceptable. Overall, a fine and decent place.

AustraliaRoom was smaller than looked in picture, rubbish fell out of the extra blanket when we opened it. No toilet paper found on arrival to our room Listed as balcony, but was a balcony that had an exit stairwell which had other guest bedrooms attached.
Location was good, easy access to the slopes and a 2 minute walk to the general store. We found it nice to go snow trail walking on the summer bike track just down the road from the hotel. Great views from our room.

AustraliaWe tried to call the Inn when we arrived at the Village in Mount Buller at 2pm but no answer. We tried 4 times in the next 3 hours but each time received a text to say they would call us back asap. They never did. We ended up storing our luggage at a ski hire shop (costing us $60) and going skiing instead of checking in so as not to waste the day. When we did finally get to the Inn there was very little apology other than to say they were busy. When we got to our room it only had one bedside table (which was an uneven leather table that you couldn't rest a hot drink on) and only one outside chair even though the room was for two people. The towels were like stiff rough cardboard, the bathroom was tiny with the smallest sink, impossible to wash your face in without getting water everywhere. There were only 2 coat hangers provided, nowhere to put your suitcase and cheap pillows that made sleeping very uncomfortable. Overall a pretty unimpressive stay.
We didn't have breakfast but when we requested to pay for a cold drink from the lounge between 10-10.30am whilst we waited for our transfer we were told sorry but they were too busy cleaning the restaurant to serve us even a drink from their fridge. I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel or lodge where they have refused to sell a very simple pre made drink from the fridge because they were too busy.

AustraliaUnfortunately that property is very dated and the rooms so very small. Decor was also quite dated. And not that you spend a lot of time in the room but you still want to be comfortable . There was no table to even place your phone on apart from a small side table . A tiny wardrobe which also acted as a coffee and tea making facility . We also didn’t think it pleasant to be staying in a room that was showing signs of plaster repairs . Plaster simply patched and no even painted .
We found the staff at the facilities so very helpful, very kind and very patient considering it was our first time to the snow and to Mt Buller . They were so friendly as were the staff in your restaurant …. We felt like nothing we asked for was too much trouble …everyone we dealt with was wonderful.

AustraliaThe breakfast was pretty terrible to be honest. We went the first day and then not again because there were so few options. Need to provide proper coffee, more options and start serving at 7am.
Things felt clean (though run down). It's just good enough compared to everything else on the mountain.
