The mattress was thin and hard and the TV was hard to operate with poor reception.. the fridge was noisy

The smell of the carpet in the room. One of the beds had a broken wheel and would roll, which caused my daughter to fall off it and hurt her back.

Open ended shower resulted in the entire bathroom floor flooding. Bathroom windows & frames filthy. No light switch cover. Shower taps would not work- husband had to get his tools out to fix as they did not have anyone to fix. Big light floor lamps cause the bedside tables to stand far back from wall. Very bad decor planning. Bed’s uncomfortable.

It’s very dirty….rooms weren’t serviced to the same standard as similar motels we’ve stayed in. The floors in room were dirty on arrival and not cleaned during our stay. The cabinetry the tv sits on, looked as though it hadn’t been dusted for a long time and even had lolly wrappers on it from previous people. The laundry was very dirty….looked as though that had never been cleaned. The staircase and hallways had spills and dirt the whole time we stayed and never cleaned (4 night stay). Bins in room weren’t emptied and bathroom sinks weren’t clean. Vending machine took our money (twice), but didn’t eject the items.

No sink in kitchnette, room smells, bathroom sink blocked and have to wait for water to drain, mould on curtains. No housekeeping on weekend.

Room isn’t what the pictures say bathroom was a disgrace paint was terrible full of cobwebs vanity door was falling off its hinges carpet smelt wet. No staff around room was supposed to be cleaned the next day beds weren’t made just a real dissatisfied stay.

No "garden view" only scruffy lawn. Garden near rotunda is nearly all weeds. No continental breakfast even though it is stated on their website - we reported to staff. Room very small, three coat hangers - one broken. Power points not working properly - we reported to staff. Large crack in window - we reported to staff. Room service - replaced towels, not face washers. We had to ask for extra t-bags - there were 3 only on arrival but 8 coffee sachets and also had to ask for a spoon to stir sugar. When I asked about continental breakfast reception denied it was on their website until I showed them. "sister' hotel offering paid breakfast was a very long walk from Echo lodge and reception didnt know if they offered continental breakfast.
