Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The poor quality of the room. Lights and tv did not work. The shower was hot and cold. It was generally run down.

Wish there was somewhere to have breakfast there that would make it awesome
It's newly renovated and so clean I get to park my car just out the front of my room So practical, only a dew minutes walk to the Three Sisters It's my second time staying there, and definitely not my last

It would be nice if there were some eateries open around there without driving at night.
The location is great, a very short walk to the three sisters. The staff was super friendly and we got an upgrade which is amazing. It's slightly far from the town centre if you don't drive, but the room is newly renovated at a reasonable price. Will stay here again.

No view, but due to heavy rain and fog - not the accommodation’s fault. We were a bit put out by no obvious place to park - and there was none for rooms with a view - and nowhere under cover to unload/load in very heavy rain (that is every guests’ problem). So what? Well, we were told on checkout that it’s always raining there! So why not do something about that? Superficial, but not very practical, room modernisation - poor power point placement; awkward bathroom basin; leaking shower head; difficult air con management; ridiculous towel rails that didn’t allow bathroom door to open properly; noisy light/fan combo in bathroom. First accommodations ever with no hand towel(s). No face cloths either, but that’s more common.
We liked the location when we booked, for the view and proximity to Echo Point. Quite spacious room; comfortable King bed. Good communication prior to stay.

The photos that were shown were for the renovated rooms but the one that I was in wasn't the one which were in the photos and hence I feel that it should have clearly stated about the room and pics.

The shower and the marks on the curtains
Doesn’t look anything like you see online and the shower was disgusting hence why we didn’t shower. Thank god I pack wipes were ever we go.

The carpet on the floor is clearly old and in our case didn’t seem to be vacuumed. It gave the room a musty smell.
Very close to three sisters in a nice and quiet area. Bed was very comfy and clean.

no plug in the bathroom sink to facilitate washing dirty dishes. we jammed a wet hand towel in the basin. there was persistant, intermittent buzzing sound like a reversing truck, it was not loud but irritatingly persistent all night. I assume the availability of a toaster. when I asked I was told it sets off the smoke alarm. the option for breakfast was unrealistically distant from the motel.

The room had a strange smell about it
The location was superb! Right next to the viewing point of the blue mountains. It was super easy to self check in, and the room was a good size with comfortable beds.

Staff was helpful for a late check in as we arrived really late at night. The room was larger than I expected and was very cozy and clean. Very close to Echo Point and we went out at night for star gazing!

Nothing, it was lovely!
A 2 minute walk from Echo Point, the room was amazing, the Queen bed was so comfortable and gave us a perfect sleep after a long day hiking. A quick 5 minute bus ride into the town centre!

There was mold in the bathroom. Receipt was not there within an hour prior to check in. No luggage/storage room, you just left it in the reception. If the receptionist was away from the desk anyone had access. Was not secure. Rooms were quite dated.
Location was good and beds were very comfortable. Staff was helpful and knew the area well.
