We arrived and the staff could not find our booking, all new staff on the day. Room was not what we booked but adequate for an overnight stay to attend a wedding. Must be prepared to walk up steps even on ground level. Path is slippery when wet. Only one teabag in the room, another couple that stayed booked a spa room with no hot water and had to shower in another room. All a bit disappointing for the price.

No information about the facility or location in one of the rooms. No "Do not Disturb "sign in one of the rooms Had to ask for tea towels and cutlery. Ironing board was broken and had to be replaced. The twin room had see through wall into the shower and toilet so most uncomfortable for siblings or non intimate guests

Staff were helpful with the several requests I needed to make. The rooms were a fair size and generally comfortable

No powerpoints near bed or desk in my room, no teaspoons, no dish washing liquid, minimal cooking utensils despite having a hotplate, hairdryer hiding behind the iron in the cupboard. No hand towels. I was not given the wifi password.

The bathroom tap was very loose and held by silicone. A handheld shower head that was previously there would be amazing as the shower head was way to high to reach and move. Some banging through the pipes through out the night was frustrating.

Room was lovely - bed was super comfortable and clean. Amenities were great. Had a great and enjoyable stay.

The staff were rude to say the least. The guy at the front desk was courteous but at 10am we had the cleaning person knock on our door telling us it was check-out time. I had booked another couple of nights so I communicated that to her. She said “ok” then sent another person, to essentially come kick us out. He knocked so violently on the door shouting it was check out time. I showed him my additional nights booking and told him I had sent a message via booking.com to ask to stay in the same room. He ordered me to go to reception to pay. At which point I showed him the payment confirmation that had been processed electronically. All of this unpleasantness could have been avoided if he was listening and polite instead of treating myself as a guest like a criminal.

The room was spacious, air conditioning worked well to heat the space and the small kitchen came in useful to warm food and enjoy the room.

When we turned up, we observed distinct differences from the photos on the booking site which portrayed clean, tidy accommodation. In reality, the property is old, needs new paint, the gardens are overrun with weeds and grass, there's lettering missing from signs and the restaurant on site doesn't appear to be open anymore. The room was tidy and linen and towels seemed to be clean. However, there were lots of little things that made up to an overall mediocre experience - chipped and outdated furniture and decor, mould on the window sill and behind the bed, no brush or cloth to do the dishes, no TV remote and so on. There were not many people staying there either which I found interesting given there are limited accommodation options in the area. Perfectly fine accommodation for what we paid ($150) but I'm glad it didn't cost any more than that and we won't stay again.

The rate was relatively fair for the state of the room. Check in was straight forward but I suspect we had a good run; there was no one there when we checked out at 8am.

The room wasn’t very clean it had an awful smell Only 2 pillows were supplied The staff were hard to understand 3 of us were staying only 2 towels supplied The cot wasn’t very nice no sheet or anything and despite it stated free for under 2 they tried to charge us for the cot. So so many stairs. Don’t stay if you can’t walk up heaps of stairs.

1st room reeked of cigarette smoke for a non smoking room. The room we were given in place of that was freezing and sorry to say but it certainly did not look like the picture it looked like a pickers hut

extremely slow wifi, it took 1 hour to send a 3 mb email. Draws in room appeared to be glued shut, the ironing board was to big for the robe but they put it in sideways which meant no real room for hanging clothes

Firstly there wasn't anyone at the reception on check in or vacating. They were aware if our arrival time. We had to call to check in and fuss around after a 2 hour drive. It was very dirty there was dust everywhere and food and things under the beds. (Not ours( and very out Dated. The sofas were so stained and there was cigarette smoke from either down stairs or neighbours coming through our bathroom vents. 😡We had a 5 week old baby (they were also aware) and it was up some stairs so not suitable for a pram either.

It was an easy place to put your head down.

Kitchenette was not very clean and only one plate spoon mug etc in a family room. Microwave not clean. No cloth or tea towels to clean dishes either.

Quiet. Comfortable beds and great shower.
