How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Perhaps a little away from main street for some, but this suited me well.

A really great place. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent—15 minutes to Rosslyn Bay if you want to see Keppel Island (highly recommended) and 15 minutes to the crocodile farm. Very good value for money. I highly recommend it!

Beds not really comfie. No top sheet. Check-in instructions not clear. Airport transfers for free, not available to suit as website stated ( on public holiday.)

Facilities need to be upgraded / maintained. Laundry machines didn't work, shared spaces run down and dirty. But for what I paid I have no complaints. Still great value for money and it served its purpose 👌
Friendly staff, clean sheets , air-conditioned big rooms. Price was fantastic

Waking up with Cockroach’s wasn’t a good start tv only had Chanel 50’s table and chairs in room could of been newer patio could of had small table and chairs bed was uncomfortable shower head had washer on it to stop it from squirting everywhere
The person that assisted us was very approachable helped us anyway he could room was a nice size

It has only been open for a couple of days when we stayed but it was comfortable. They have a little work to still be done but very welcoming and friendly staff 😊

It was the bare minimum - a double bed, spacious bathroom. There were no tables (bedside or outdoor) which would become a bit annoying if you were staying a couple of nights. But there were basic kitchenette facilities - fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave which were handy.
Emu Park was such a cute, tidy and friendly little town. There were lovely beaches, parks and facilities. This resort was about a 10-15minute walk down the road from town. I was pleasantly surprised with Emu Park! The staff were friendly- even offering to help with our bags. The room was very simple but clean.

Grounds a bit run down but aware it is under new management and improvements are being made
The young man at reception went out of his way to assist! From walking us to our room and hand shake on introduction . Friendly and great communication.

Can't think of anything. Loved this place!
This was an absolutely beautiful location and great accomodation. I had seen pictures but was blown away when we actually got there. Beds were incredibly comfortable and very clean. It was an incredibly relaxing experience.

Fights breaking out in the middle of the resort, police being called, the lady on reception did apologise to us, understand that it wasn’t her fault. There was a dog shut in a tiny dog box overnight left to yap all night In the carpark. Wouldn’t stay here again. Sorry

I’m falling from 3rd floor stairs because there is no light at night on the stairs. I got injury for my ancle.

Couldn’t be faulted at all
Fantastic place to stay, suitable for All. The staff are bright, bubbly and very personable. There’s always staff at arms length going above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and enjoying your stay. The rooms I really enjoyed also. absolutely immaculate. Bright, open and fresh. the atmosphere of the whole place can’t be faulted at all. I found the common area a Great opportunity to meet people alike. The pool and the fact that they are also pet friendly was also two great additions.
