Driveway is steep and quite narrow. Bathroom downstairs didn't have shower gel, though just a small oversight.

Lots of space for a family of 5. There are 2 bathrooms, washing machine is available and would be handy for longer stays. Linen and towels are included with the price paid. There are 2 rooms downstairs, great for kids as they have their space with a large tv and comfy lounge area.

The street in front of the house is very busy, the driveway is very steep and a challenge to get in and out of but not impossible. Overall enjoyed our stay.

The entrance to the driveway is steep and can easily be missed. A bit more amenities would be helpful e.g hand towel in each bathroom, kitchen paper towel but it is just a suggestion for improvement.

The house is close to everything and we had a wonderful time staying here. The host is very accomodating and responsive. It has everything you need for family with small children e.g high chair, board games, kids cutlery & plates.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only thing we noticed was not dishwashing liquid. So we just used the dishwasher. Very easy

I spent the weekend with 2 girl friends to relax for the weekend. I would thoroughly recommend this house. It met all our expectations and we were very relaxed. Close to shops for a pleasant walk. Unfortunately we could not get the wi-fi to work for us, but we were not too concerned. We even got to experience beautiful birds come into the yard

Dining room and kitchen could do with more lightings. We struggle with the dim light during food preparation and at dining table. Our sedan car had trouble going down the driveway but the suv was fine.

Loved how beautifully decorated this property was, it was just like home. It had it all. Spacious, class, cleanliness, and really friendly owners. Nothing was a problem. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend the property to my friends or family heading to Nelson Bay. Loved it.

Not being able to open windows in upstairs bedroom, though has aircon and fan. As mentioned by others the driveway is steep and a bit tricky if neighbours home to turn around, once parked easy access and enough room for ute and van.

Good location very close to Dutchies, town and great foreshore walks. Communication with Michael was excellent, he was super accommodating and flexible. Very comfy house, kitchen well appointed, coffee pods and a few pantry staples. Nice showers. Heaps of space including two spacious outdoor decks to chill out.

Master bedroom doesn't have blockout blinds so we woke up at 6am ish every day being daylight savings time. Pillows were not comfortable. Down stairs had no aircon and just fans it was VERY HOT! 3rd bedroom had sheer curtains and didn't block any light out. As previously mentioned by others the driveway is tricky to nagivate. I would recommend going very slowly as its very steep.

Location was super! Communication with Michael & Sarah was fantastic, great recommendation and response time was really quick. House had a beachie feel about it and was presented beautifully. Upstairs aircons were great and very much appreciated being early Dec and getting hot. Kitchen was well appointed. Showers very good! Great house if you are travelling with teenagers as they can be down stairs and adults upstairs. Teenagers were very excitied to see a HUGE TV and appreciated the PS3. Teenagers took their Switch and were able to connect to the TV in our down time.

constructive feedback I would give is to invest in a softer mattress next time and the beds do squeak. A tip for guests is to locate the aircon particularly for the main bedroom upstairs before going to sleep because it can get a bit hot without - once I realised there was an air con it was a lot better though :) the squeak and the firmness of the mattress may not have been as noticeable if it wasn’t the night before my wedding and I was struggling to sleep anyway! Mattress wasn’t hard but still a little firm for me. Also some better pillows and cooler/breathable bedding would be great.

The customer service and communication has been the best I have ever experienced when booking and organizing accommodation. We booked this stay for hair and make up the next day and the space was perfect for this! It was a relaxing well located girls night and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Sadly we didn’t have time to use all the rooms but had plenty of space and Wouk shave loved to use the lounge room downstairs should we have had the time. Michael was a breathe of fresh air, super attentive and flexible, we need more people in the world like him. All the guests enjoyed.

Just the entrance to the property but not much of an issue

The location was very close to town and shops. The whole property was clean and spacious. The facilities and amenities were everything you would need if you were away from home. We loved that linen and towels were provided for as well. It’s such a gem of a find in Nelson Bay!

We liked everything about our stay

Walking down to Nelson bay was 10 min and the walk down to Dutchman’s beach about the same. This is a much loved home with all the amenities you could wish for. The shower was fantastic!
