How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

An excellent airport accommodation option. Very modern and loved the whimsical decor. Would definitely stay there again!

Reception bing on the top floor. Taking my 3 bags upstairs was a problem, as the trollies are upstairs.

The glass wall of the shower allowed water to go under it. It leaked into the basin area. Not well designed… Also they told me that shuttle only takes 5 minutes to the airport but it took 2 guys sometime to get people onto the bus. I don’t think they have a working plan. One guy looked like he was fussing but not getting people onto the bus. It could have been more streamlined. Don’t make people wait. I nearly missed my plane…

I saw that this property charges a fee for a credit card and when I wanted to use my debit card, the man said it had to be a credit card.
Great location, close to the airport. Good size king bed and I was able to get more pillows.

The newish bathroom floor tiles were loose in places; looks like the tiler didn't know what they were doing or didn't care about doing a good job. I wouldn't recommend using the bar upstairs except to check out the views, it's expensive and not the best service. I wished we had a room on a higher floor so we had a better view of the airport. We walked one way from the airport (good) and caught the shuttle service back which was $15 each; by the time we waited and we're driven to the airport, we could have walked it. Save your money.
The staff at check-in were professional and friendly and I loved the fact reception is located on the top floor so we could see the view of the airport. We loved our room, it was clean with new carpet and curtains (loved the fabric), a big TV with a great picture and sound, great bathroom (clean), the bed was comfy with lovely fresh crisp white linen, a comfy chair, you could barely hear any outside noise. The room had other facilities required for a stay, tea/coffee facilities, clothes hanging space, iron/ironing board, mini safe, fridge. Nearby the hotel are plenty of places to eat and have a drink; great for a stopover nearby the airport. I recommend walking to/from the airport, it's very close. We will stay here again.

Card didn't work to get in or out of the car park.....wasn't really an issue at all, as the staff opened up as soon as i pressed the bell.

Had a very short over night stay here before an early international flight. Met all our needs clean comfortable (extra pillows would have been nice). But convenient no stress next morning at 4am to get to the airport

The hotel was quite modern and very clean, there were a few things that needed repair like the doors to the carpark which we got stuck in. It is a nice hotel for a quick stop over but not ideal if visiting the city. We spent too much on ubers to get into Surry Hills and back for dinner and the wait times are too long because all the taxis/ubers go to the airport first. The quality of the hotel is good but I have stayed at much nicer Citadines before.

The have a self serve cafe with food which is fine. You can buy cold food or warm up meals in microwave provided. They have toasters, if the cafe but don’t sell bread which seems a bit weird.
