Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United KingdomThe room was a bit tight for space with our luggage too. Really terrible Internet connection, so we had to hot-spot to watch a movie.
The lobby space on the top floor and the great views and cosy lounge areas and balcony fireplace setting. Loved the colours, atmosphere and decor of the rooms and communal space. Healthy breakfast and snack options like oats and museli as well as warm pies and pastry options.

AustraliaNot keen on the Grab and Go concept. Feels impersonal and youth hostel like and concerned about the freshness of the food. Taxis are expensive to the property from international terminal as now using the new motorway.
Shuttle bus is available. Can walk to Domestic Terminal from Hotel. Staff friendly and rooms very comfortble. Free wifi. A restaurant bar area on the rooftop allows you to watch all the planes landing and taking off.

CanadaAlthough there are a couple of complaints here, it's nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. Regardless of the issues, it's a great value. Although the building is newer, the walls must be rather thin and the doors to the rooms close with... authority, so I could hear the comings and goings of other guests rather clearly throughout the evening and into the night for those arriving on later flights. Although I wouldn't have used it anyways, the TV in my room clearly had some issues, displaying the wrong date and time on the otherwise very nice welcome screen and refusing to connect to the advertised Netflix function. Getting the shuttle FROM the airport is a bit of a pain as the only way to book is to call them when your flight lands, as it's run by a third party and their website does not let you select Citadines as a destination. If you need to take the shuttle back to the airport though the hotel staff can book the shuttle on your behalf when you check in.
This is a very chic, modern airport hotel, and pretty much all that you could ask for given that most guests will only be staying on an overnight layover. The rooms are clean, modern, spacious, and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were high-quality and very soft, perfect after a day enduring the harshness of planes and airports. The front desk being on the top floor was a new one for me and resulted in a lot of elevator traffic during the peak check-in and check-out times, but the elevators were large, fast, and there were enough of them to keep up so not really an issue. The location is typical for an airport hotel, but there are a couple of good restaurants and a train station to catch a ride into the city if you're willing to walk 10-15 minutes. There is a public bus stop a bit down the street that connects to the Qantas domestic terminal at the airport if you don't want to pay for the shuttle and don't mind walking 5 minutes with your bags.

AustraliaA small thing would like to see meals being able to order other the crab and go. Also the rooms coffee cups are impractical as the cups had handles that were hard to grip. Making me nearly dropping the mug a few times.
The hotel is close enough to the airport and the hotel has a fantastic penthouse level where there is a bar lounge area and food to crab and go.

We loved the quirkiness of checking in on the penthouse level with a view of the airport. The cocktail lounge was also on this level and we loved having a cheeky drink and watching the planes come & go. Also the lovely fire outside on the balcony of this area was nice. Unfortunately cocktails were not included in Happy Hour .. only overpriced beers.
