Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Australiano door on the toilet (although the toilet and shower did have a great view)
The privacy and the amazing rainforest setting plus your own very private pool. Ground coffee for the perculator was also a nice touch)

AustraliaSuch a beautiful property with the most magnificent daintree rainforest views. All the amenities in the kitchen, bathroom and the pool were wonderful too. Short drive to all the beautiful attractions but nice to come back to your own place after and relax.

AustraliaThe only downside was that the pool was too cold to swim, if this was solar heated then the stay would have been near faultless.
The attention to detail and the added comforts of home were fantastic, they've thought of everything, mozzie coils & spray, board games & books, all kitchenware, tea, coffee & milk supplies... it's all here. The location is wonderful, you're immersed in the Daintree, fully secluded and immediately gives the feeling of escape. The design and decor is modern and open plan, and is positioned perfectly to take in the vast view of the forest. The full open wall aspect is incredible and provides a perfect picture to wake up to. We stayed two nights and could easily have stayed many more.

Australiait was def related to the timing of our stay but we hadn’t considered that the mozzie activity would mean we didn’t get to make use of the outdoor environment at Forest views ie the magnificent outdoor eating area /BBQ facility and pool .By the time we got back from other activities in early evening the mozzies were in action mode . Also be aware that Forest view has an unusual design which means that toiletting ‘noises‘ can be heard loud and clear in kitchen/ sleeping and lounge area as the toilet/ bathroom wall doesn’t go to the ceiling . OK for long term partners but perhaps could be something to consider if you’re early in your relationship
loved the outlook and cleanliness and the little extras provided - milk/ teas/ sugar/ ground coffee / cooking oil . much appreciated ! Loved the use of natural materials - wood features and natural stone on shower floor . Fitted beautifully with the environment

AustraliaIn wet weather it's really hard to get your clothes, bathers etc to dry as everything stays damp and there's no air conditioning. Unfortunately the weather was pretty bad when we were there and we couldn't use the pool as much as we wanted to as the water was freezing. No microwave was a bit inconvenient/odd? Pretty sure there's no TV signal, but Netflix works so no big deal. You'll be too busy enjoying nature to care much about technology.
One of the coolest places I've ever stayed. It's easy to get to but you feel like you're in the middle of your own private jungle oasis - like having Jurassic Park at you back door!! I thought it was pretty good value considering you get your own spacious house in a beautiful setting. Really enjoyed just sitting looking at the ancient trees, watching the birds, butterflies, lizards and can't miss those huge spiders! Even the bathroom has a view. On the second last day we were lucky enough to see a cassowary and its baby emerge from the path behind the house. An absolute highlight of my whole trip. You also must do a croc spotting tour before you cross the ferry. Don't miss the Daintree Ice Cream company (on the left as you drive up). If you go up to Cape Trib the Turtle Rock cafe is pretty lively and makes nice lunch. All the boardwalks up the coast are worth doing. The area in general seemed pretty quiet so hopefully tourism picks up again soon.

AustraliaThis was our second time staying at the property and it didn’t disappoint. The location is private and peaceful and it’s lovely to wake up to a beautiful view of the rainforest. Remember to bring some food to cook on the awesome bbq!
