The ambience, the friendly owners - Heidi and Jim are really nice people, the fact that EVERYTHING has been thought of, the peace and quiet, the luxury, the delicious breakfast, the generosity of spirit and the hospitality. We loved staying here..it was so relaxing

I can't think of a single bad thing to say about our stay.

There was a good number of options for breakfast, the size was generous and it was delicious. There are a few little extra special touches like port and chocolates available in the evenings, and afternoon tea with cake if you would like some. the hosts were very flexible and even let us take some cake in a takeaway across the road to the beer festival we were at for the day.

Freeman on Ford is a 5 star stay with all the charm of a genuine Bed & Breakfast. We were welcomed into the premises by the hosts who let us know we should treat it as our home. With Pool and lounge areas this a magnificent place to relax and unwind. The breakfast was absolutely superb.

Stairs but your staff carried our gear up stairs and were terrific. I did ask for blankets on the beds but we had quilts.

Booking two nights instead of one !!

Bee Bee who greeted us was very welcoming and served a lovely afternoon tea. She took great care to ensure we had everything we needed and also cooked a delightful breakfast the next morning. The venue exceeded all our expectations and we certainly hope to visit again one day.

The ambience, the pool and outdoor area, and most of all the hosts Heidi and Jim made our stay so special. Breakfast was fabulous and served in such style you felt so special. Well done ! We haven’t experienced anything quite like this in the country. Amazing. If you want a truly relaxing experience in the country this is for you. Thank you. Also so many returning customers we met says it all.

The bed in the room we booked was not to our liking but this didnt detract from our stay. We would definitely return and look forward to spending time in one of the two rooms that look out to the pool area.

Heidi and Jim were very welcoming. Parking is onsite. The pool area was fantastic and it was lovely to swim and cool down on the hot days. As well as the yummy breakfasts, cake and coffee were on offer in the afternoon and port and chocolate in the evening. The location is excellent - walking distance to many attractions including the town centre, the gaol and the museum.

Can only find one easily accessible power point. Maybe carry your own multiple charging dock.

Our stay was too short!

Heidi and Jim's warm welcome made us feel 'at home' immediately. The staff were equally friendly and warm. Our room (6) was magnificent, spacious and comfortable as was the rest of the property. We really relaxed at Freeman on Ford. It will be our choice next time we come to Beechworth.

From our first meeting with our host Jim through to our departure, our stay was great. Both of our host Heidi and Jim made us feel very welcome, similar or akin of being a close friend. They also provided us with relevant information in regards to Beechworth and surrounds, especially as this was our first trip to Beechworth. I would definetly recommend tge Freeman on Ford to any of our friends and hopefully we will return.

The room was small but had everything you need. The stairs were steep.

I liked the restoration of the building. The breakfast was fab and personalised, extra fab. Morning and afternoon tea were a bonus along with the port and the chocolates. Loved that the bed was king sized.

Nothing negative. It was one of the best properties that my friend and I have ever stayed at.

An amazing experience. The owner Heidi was a wonderful host. The deluxe rooms with a pool view that we had were excellent. They were comfortable, fully equipped, quiet and relaxing, with a patio that looked out on the pool and a nice area. The pool looked good, but it was too cold (still early spring) to use. The breakfast was equally excellent. The location in the center of Beechworth was ideal. There was very convenient safe off-street covered parking. The common lounge area was comfortable with coffee/tea facilities. A great find.
