Second time staying @ Grand Terminus and have been impressed on both occasions. The staff are great , the rooms are clean and very comfortable and the food is very good. If you are ever in Bairnsdale and need a place to eat and stay look no further.

Although it is not on the main road it is just a short walk to the shopping centre. Has a lovely bistro for lunch and dinner and there is an little Cafe for breakfast just around the corner.

Rooms are a bit small. Ours was without a view or balcony. ( I think some rooms had a balcony). Parking was general street parking. The climb to the 1st floor might be a bit too hard for someone with a disability.

The cleanest crispiest linen ever!. White as snow. Very comfortable bed. Pub and dinner just below, so , drinks and dinner - no issues!. 😀

Very early they stop offering food and there are no restaurants open in the area after 8pm. No elevator, if you need it.

This hotel was a good surprise. This looks like a old western hotel from the cowboys movies. But the rooms are really great, with a very high roof, very well decorated, comfortable and big. There is no service, it´s just a room and a bar, not even a specific hotel staff (staff is the bar staff and reception is the bar). But it works for the purpose. It's a must to visit the Koala trail in Raymond island. It's few minutes drive only. It's a good option if you driving on that road, not worth to visit as it self. The hotel and bar were surprising busy. They stop serving at 8 pm, so very early for European standards.

We wanted to check out early (before 9am) but got no access to reception to return the keys. We had to go somewhere then come back (around 11am) to check out.

Great location. Close to Paynesville and Lakes Entrance. Free parking. Close to restaurants and supermarkets.

Having to wait for room.There was no full length mirror which should be a must in a king room with so much space. Having to reach up to a high shelf to get cups tea sugar and coffee(plenty of bench space if they were just left out) Minor things for me but maybe not for everyone.

How comfy the bed was, room was spacious and very clean. The room had a great aircon which kept it nice and cool on such a hot day. Bathroom had a great shower and plenty of bench top space. Would definitely stay again.
