The cabin was absolutely spotless and well equipped for a long stay if needed. The staff were lovely. The bed was hard, could do with an overlay, or softer mattress. Loved the surrounds and quiet location, a little out of the Gap. Unfortunately staff aren't on-site around the clock and a handful of families in a group allowed their kids to run wild without any respect for other guests. Staff could have addressed this if there all hours. We had kids playing till late outside our cabin, then dire tly outside our room very early again, throwing toys onto our roof, knocking on the door, then one tried to retrieve something with a branch, nearly damaging our car. Even when pulled up before it came to grief, the parents were just as immature and inconsiderate, gathering outside our cabin to have a group discussion about getting the toys off the roof. Staff should address this behaviour, not leave it to guests, as conflict can often result. There was 3 acres of open space for them to play...why play just outside another cabin? So long as they're not bothering us, (the parents) good enough I suppose.

I had booked a spa room but the spa didn’t work as when we tried to turn it in it kept tripping the power supply I tried contacting the owner but the reception desk was closed ( at 11am ) so contacted the phone number provided but had no response . Still haven’t had a response 5days later. The pool was all closed off so could not use it even though it said it was open between 12pm-7pm . This was disappointing as the weather was beautiful.

The host wasn´t present when we arrived, even tho we informed him before hand. He didn´t answer us on Booking and we needed to call him to get our key which was rather stressfull with a foreign phone. The cabins are quite old and would need some renovation.

In the backyard you can watch some wild life.

The mattress was a bit uncomfortable. We also found two dirty tissues on the ground in the bedroom. The shower head needs replacing as the water pretty much sprays everywhere but on you. The kitchen blind was hard to pull back up and the pool could do with a clean.

Location was great, very quiet place. Couches were comfortable! Very roomy place

Shower head was broken, when we used it water sprayed the entire room, spoke to the staff and was asked if I could replace the shower head. We also left something behind and message the owner and never replied .

Hot Water!!! There was none!! We asked twice and nothing changed. The ceiling in the bedroom did not work. Having cold showers was very disappointing….and the staff had a nonchalant attitude….

Location and spacious were great. Kitchen ammenities were very good…and the bonus of borrowing dvds was a bonus

The place was lovely, but our experience was ruined by the manager Josh, who wasn't very good at his job. I booked well in advance to make sure we had a baby cot for our 14-month baby girl. I even rang the facility a month in advance to make sure that a baby cot was available, and I was told that one would be in our cabin. I was also recommended to bring my own sheet for it. Instead, when we got there there was no cot and I was told that we could not have one until the last night. My wife and I had to sleep with our daughter in our own bed, making the sleep very uncomfortable. We went to Halls gap to relax and have a small holiday. Instead, we ended up not sleeping properly for 3 nights. Very disappointing

Not quite enough wood for the fire, had to use very sparingly.

The views from the front door were amazing. Little visitors in the morning, kangaroos, lots of birds, including emus.

We were supplied with wet wood ,matches and 1 fire lighter broken in half. Cork screw would not work to open corked wine. Second night spa hot water cold. In the grill aluminum foil was dirty with used oil and crumbs.

You could hear the TV and the telephone conversation through the walls of the adjoining room. There was a cord for the electric blanket but no electric blanket supplied.

The accommodation was excellent quiet and very peaceful with kangaroos deer and emu looking out our kitchen windows ...Staff very friendly...We would highly recommend this location

The friendly staff and the clean and tidy accommodation also how close to Halls Gap a nice walking distance. Surrounded by local animals
