United KingdomThe back area of the property is shabby and the courtyard is just a car park. The whole place had a tired feel and is in need of an upgrade. The only contact we had from the manager was by text which is not always reliable when travelling. There is no one on site.
Lovely position and we had a balcony room looking out over the harbour. The room was clean and comfortable.

AustraliaThe description of the place did not meet expectations. The carpets were dirty and door etc was rusty and difficult to close. The room was smaller than expected and the TV was not connected to the internet so we could not stream movies etc. The cost was more expensive for the room.

AustraliaThis property was very misleading in their description of the place. Thinking we were getting a Harbour View, only to get a lower ground view of the car park, only a few rooms had a view. The pictures they show of the place was nothing like it. The positive is the staff were very nice and accommodating, both Gayle and Bronwyn listened to our concerns and moved us to a better room, seeing we were disappointed. We didn’t get an upper room, but one facing the street view which was better than looking at our car. As you can see from the photo no harbour view, only a car park, then we go a front room facing a road and table.
The staff tried their best to give us a room that we were expecting, the 1st room was terrible, they let us move to a better room.

AustraliaWhen we arrived, we were shown to a room with a power problem. After putting our bags into this room, we realised the problem. We were relocated to the room next door, but quickly found this to have the same problem. Third time lucky. Heating didn’t warm all the room. Next day we found the room wasn’t cleaned for a 2 night stay. We ne Dr ask for this, only wanted clean towels which we got on requesting same. Expected to wash your own dishes, but no dish cloth or tea towel.

AustraliaHarbour view was exaggerated- I could only see the top 20cm of some masts. On entering the room the bathroom tap was running and could not be turned off so dripped all night. The shower head needed cleaning so very little water came out. Not a good standard so wouldn’t return here.

AustraliaI stayed in room 10 in late March when the nights are getting colder. The bedding consisted of one thin blanket and a sheet. I added the two spare blankets from the cupboard but woke in the night freezing. I tried the split system over the bed but this made little difference as it didn't appear to be working properly. Nice touches such as pink side lamps and a thin throw had been provded in the room. I would have preferred a dooner/ quilt for warmth/comfort over nice touches. The mattress was passable but not particularly comfortable. Towels were a little shabby but clean.
A typical motel of it's age with painted breeze block walls, and large window with a view into a parking area. Some of the upper/front rooms enjoy a great view of the harbour. Well equipped 'kitchenette' within the main room with microwave, fridge and enough crockery and cutlery for a make yourself breakfast or enjoy a late night takeaway. Liked the addition of washing up liquid and a tea towel. Great shower with quality Australian made toiletries.
