A quiet well equipped comfortably getaway in the heart of Nelson Bay. Woke up to the sound of birds and fresh coffee. I've been coming to the bay for decades, and this is a little gem for those that want to be amongst it when in it.. but go ahh at the end of the day.

The apartment was beautifully furnished in a simple, understated but extremely tasteful way. The living space and bedroom were so comfortable and well designed with everything in it of high quality. We loved the sunlight filled bathroom with the generous shower space. The apartment was in a great location and we were able to walk easily to local restaurants and the marina area.

Tallean Hideaway is fresh, stylish and immaculate with so many thoughtful and unexpected extra touches. It’s a short walk and even shorter drive into beautiful Nelson Bay shopping, cafes and beaches.

Kitchenette area is very small, just enough space to make a drink or prepare something simple, but we ate out in the evenings so not a problem for us.

Quiet location but walking distance to the shops and waterfront. Bed was super comfy and a great shower - perfect after a day's sailing!

Everything! We couldn't fault a thing! We had the most perfect stay. Kathy had welcoming gifts and she had thought of everything in detail. The bed was super comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was perfect! The extra towels and toiletries were a treat. Waking up to hear the beautiful birds in the rainforest like surrounding just made the stay so peaceful! We would love to come back again and stay at Kathy's beautiful Hideaway. Thanks for having us and providing exceptional accommodation.

.The accommodation was beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need! The wine, cheese, biscuits and chocolate were there on arrival and very much appreciated. It was a short stroll to a variety of restaurants and the centre of town. We will certainly be back! Kathy is an outstanding host!

Perfect for a couple. Very clean, well presented and comfortable apartment. Location was perfect, very quiet in amongst nature yet still within a short walk to the main shops and beach/marina. Kathy was a great host and nothing was too much trouble

There was absolutely nothing to dislike!

It was beautifully decorated with all mod cons.It was warm and had a lovely little balcony which was great for a read or glass of wine. The shower was excellent and everything you required was provided! The welcoming bottles of wine and cheese and crackers were a lovely touch. Would love to stay again.
