We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great location, easy to get there by public transport. Lots of eateries in Darlinghurst and Kings cross. Value for the money and location. Aircon was good, bed and pillows were comfy. Bathroom was so tiny, I am 5'11 and 70 kilos, I found it too tight. If you are bigger in size, you will find it very difficult to move around.

AustraliaIt’s very hot, with no air conditioning. There is a fan but in the recent weather it was just too hot for me. Also please note that the shower drains in the female and unisex bathroom are very clogged, with flooding happening almost immediately. Some Drano would help!

Australiawe really liked the location the hotel is very close to train station, good walking distance to botanical garden even the owner I think his name is Mr. Allen ( if am not wrong 😅) he was such a nice to us and discussed wd us about the good places to visit. really appreciate the service... on the top of it we found an Indian restaurant as well which is located backside of the building so, overall it was worthy for us.

United KingdomThe cleaner is probably the worst person I’ve met since being in Australia. Very rude and went into my room whilst I was asleep, I mentioned it to the lady on reception so I hope he was dealt with. Just a really awful angry man who was rude to multiple guests and the fact he can go into other peoples rooms when it was passed 2pm is absurd, I hope he gets dealt with. It’s the bald man, he also was really rude in the kitchen to multiple guests and for someone who doesn’t like confrontation I had to bite my tounge. He should be sacked, if he doesn’t want to work there then he shouldn’t.
The location and the reception lady were really nice, the tv in the room was good and the Wi-Fi was strong throughout the whole stay.
