Room wasn’t ready Shelves were dusty Ants in kitchen area Trip hazard step between the two rooms Wardrobe - clothes space was minimal for four people Bathroom was tiny and hard to manoeuvre in especially with small kids One of the rooms had a slant in the floor which was another trip hazard with young kids Also have two pending payments Have called the hotel to fix payment but no answer at reception for the past two days - can’t leave a message Also was locked outside the hotel when taking bags out to the car - after hours number provided went to the closed reception - eventually someone answered the buzzer on the front door and slowly walked to let us in and looked very unhappy - we were in a rush to get to the airport Also so much noise in the hotel / doors slamming and road noise and given a room furthest away from the lifts with two young children and cars didn’t let us in the room on the first night

Clean and comfortable room, lovely fixtures and fittings especially the large shower head! A fridge in the room was helpful to store my bottle of wine! At check in it was really busy but the lovely woman at reception wasn’t phased, she was warm and friendly to me and every guest I saw her check in. Great location and close to the Esplanade!

The loft we stayed in smelt very musky/old. The concept of it is nice and spacious but seems more run down in person. When we had the cleaners in, they didn’t empty the bins, do dishes or make the bed properly.

Pool area and lounge is nice. Good location not far from restaurants/shops and board walk.

The lift was loud and clunky, and having a room within 5 meters of it wasn't really ideal. Rooms are very outdated.

Buffet was a bit of let down, not much on offer which gets pretty boring after a few days. Eggs were over cooked and only two hot options to have with your eggs. Hard when you don’t eat the normal foods like bread.

Staff were super accommodating and the hotel was centrally located and easy to explore from.

Accommodation was not up to standard at all and we departed after one night. The fridge did not work. The fire alarm went off if any steam escaped from the bathroom. No food was available, and no drinks were available. Breakfast was limited in relation to offering and time open. To enter the bathroom you had to step around the door as there was not sufficient room to open it Being on a walking stick made this impossible. Rooms are dated and need extensive renovation. No receipt or details of money paid as the receptionist could only ring the owner and could not give anything to us. No porters were available. Very poorly advertised on Booking.com

The single sheet on the beds was impractical, especially with how cold the rooms can get. The spare blankets were dusty and had a worn out odour - like they had not been washed. Overall very disappointed with the bed facilities.

Great location very central to the city! Friendly staff and well maintained property. Rooms were functional for families.

Had to wait a long time to find someone to check me in, no one on reception. Room not ready. Receptionist unpleasant in her manner, not welcoming. Very rowdy guests in rooms nearby, no soundproofing, I felt un-secure all night. Had to ask twice for a tax invoice upon departure.

Nothing i wont stay there again.

- staff unfriendly, barely a smile, most of the time didn’t get greeted when we passed reception - no toilet brush, toilet unclean even after room service - 1 room service over a 5 days stay - breakfast food wasn’t cooked well (some things under some things overcooked) everything thrown on top of each other & broken - floor uneven, bed with wheels was rolling down

Staff were super accommodating with the request for rooms to be close together. Location of hotel was great, Pool was super fun and the restaurant had beautiful food and a delicious buffet breakfast.

Our room backed into the street and we could occasionally hear people walking past talking. There are also no security latches or peep holes on the doors which would be preferable.
