Could do with a few more power outlets

Spacious room, modern spacious bathroom, sea view and a very pleasant seaside walk into the centre of Kingscote to eat. We were not expecting this location to be so good.

My bed sqeeked everytime I turned. The motel is a bit outdated & needs some TLC to modernise it. Thank goodness for the view & the balcony.

The location was perfect. The motel had a ramp which was great as I have problems with stairs.

Lack of toaster and microwave. I had to request bowls, plates and knifes which were then supplied

I was disappointed that there wasn’t any meal options available and I found the ground floor room we could hear everything upstairs. I think an upstairs room would have been better.

Bathroom not as clean as it could have been. Had to jam screen door with paper to keep it shut.

The view over the bay is fantastic. Easy walk into town. All rooms have the great view. Easy check-in and checkout. Friendly staff. Room was clean and tidy.

No cooking facilities - eg: toaster or microwave. Apart from one teaspoon, no other cutlery.

No microwave, no toaster, an actual monetary fine for cooking/heating food in the room. No cutlery (no knife, fork...) or crockery- just 2 mugs. No capacity to make breakfast, let alone reheat a meal or get something delivered.

Some of the light switches were in strange places--not a big deal. I wish the shower had some shelves for shampoo and other products.

Fantastic view from the balcony. Room was enormous with tea/coffee facilities. Large bathroom. Very friendly staff. Close to shops and restaurants.....it was a nice walk to the town.

In a holiday of several weeks this was one of our most spacious rooms, and with the view over the beach from our upstairs room it made for a delightful stay. An easy walk to the town centre and places to eat. A major selling point for us was onsite RAA charging for our EV.

It was just a little dated but would stay there again and the gardens were well kept as well as the gardens. Even though it was clean and comfortable with a good TV set.

The facility was clean but a little old . The room was large and fridge was supplied with milk. Ensuite was great. The view to the ocean was great and only 200 metres away. Location to town was close and quiet with good parking spaces available. We would stay there again.

A couple of extra Pillows and blankets would have been useful. Bed covers were thin. The single mattress I had was a bit hard but as we'd been hiking and camping for the previous 5 days I was very tired and slept ok

Location was great. We only used it as a one night stop after a 4 night hike so we were just after a clean place to shower and sleep before leaving the island the next morning. The room had a great view of the ocean and we were able to open the sliding door (with screen) to enjoy the sea air. The room was big enough for three people to sleep separately on the 3 beds without being on top of each other. Bathroom was large and clean. After a 5 day hike the shower was very important and I can report that the water pressure was more than adequate. The motel was accurately portrayed by the pictures online. I have no complaints about our short stay. We didn't have any reason to contact the staff or owners but didn't need to hassle them for anything. We had only a brief interaction on check in but the man who helped us was friendly and I'm sure he would have helped us if we had any problems. The room was equipped with a kettle and instant coffee, and there was a hair-dryer in the bathroom
