Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was fantastic for catching the Q train. Other eating facilities you would need a car to go to. They provided everything you could need, including an umbrella. It was clean and modern and so very quiet. I didn't find the bed very comfortable, but that's a personal issue. My partner snores, so I slept sometimes on the couch which was great. Had a lovely stay and would recommend this accommodation.

Lovely unit .Well decorated lounge kitchenette large bedroom and a modern bathroom all spotlessly clean.Host were great to communicate with and turned on the a/c for us prior to our arrival.Directly opposite the Q train railway restaurant train and the lake.Property behind a house on the main road so quiet with no road noise. 20 min walk to Drysdale shops and restaurants.

It was a great location as we were having lunch on the QTrain and it was a short walk to the station. The apartment was clean and fresh. We had a lovely day exploring the Bellarine Peninsula and it was easy to get to all the different areas.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable - we would definitely recommend the property. Also just across the road from the Q Train so ideal for a stopover after enjoying a leisurely trip/meal on the train. Very well equipped. Great communication from Sarene - very friendly and helpful.

It was the perfect location for us as we went on the Q Train (station literally across the road). It was super quiet (as set back from the main road) and sooooooooo clean!!!!

This accommodation was amazing. The cleanliness of the property was outstanding. The location was perfect for easy access to the Q Train and the town. Would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely return. The owner came out to farewell us which was a lovely gesture to end what was a perfect stay.

The driveway was interesting to manoeuvre and if I was driving an older vehicle with my lack of backing skills... I would have found it challenging.
I felt like I was at home and everything was at my fingertips. The host/hostess were professional and informative. I utilised the information they left to find somewhere to eat ( Chinese- enjoyed it), settled in for the night and found everything incredibly comfortable.

We had a such a lovely stay at this beautiful little house. It had everything we needed, was very clean, modern and comfortable and Sarene was such a lovely host - even checking in with us when we had accidentally left some stuff in the fridge and offering to keep it if we wanted to pick it up. The location was close to town and wonderfully quiet. A perfect space to relax and explore from!
