How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Easy to find the location and check in is seamless, we do not even need to do check in procedure while the stuff has done before our arrival! Big lawn in front of the room is definitely a big thumb up for our little kid!

Absolutely nothing bad to say
From the moment we booked, Jason was communicating with us. He is very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and so comfortable. Everything was great right down to the "real" toilet paper and tissues. The grounds are just gorgeous and well maintained. I'm just sorry we didn't have longer. Will definitely be back one day. Thankyou Jason for making our stay so comfortable.

1The shower hot water is not very enough for 1 person, but we has 3 people in one bedroom.
Room is clean and tidy, you can find everything you need in kitchen. The toilet is clean. We stayed 2 days and the room is always made in a high quality set. Highly recommend for family travellers.

All was good.
The hotel is walkable to the beach and an easy drive to the airport. The room was big, with easy parking outside.

Couldn't fault anything.
Room was beautifully presented, clean, lovely outdoor setting and very close to other facilities such as bowling club. All staff were lovely, extremely helpful and communication was impeccable. Thank you Jason, Lilly and team.

TV reception was poor but Netflix was available and free to use.
Recently renovated and nicely done.. comfortable beds.. right next door to a lovely bowling club with a nice restaurant for meals.. a very nice walk along the waterfront… Jason the manager was friendly and willing to help out with local knowledge..

Dealing with minor maintenance issues like the lock on the screen door and the hole in the sheer curtains would have made my nine rating a ten!!
We were fortunate to get the last room on short notice. Our host, Jason, was very accommodating on the phone when we rang with various questions and then welcomed us wonderfully on arrival. The typical hotel room was totally ample for three adults, and we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the bathroom. The view out into the garden with its immaculate green lawn was very pleasant, so my early morning yoga practice on it was a treat. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The kitchenette served its purpose well for us, too. All in all, it was a great one night stopover on our journey northbound.

A bit of noise (from other guests) around the car park, which can be heard easily in the room.

This motel is a real gem. Rooms are simple but very spacious, super clean and very comfortable. Small pantry with a microwave so you can prepare your own food if you like. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are newly renovated and very practical. All rooms look out on the garden which is beautifully maintained. Very good value for money. Absolute recommendation for one or more nights!

Overnight stay for an out of town wedding. Motel happy to accommodate early check in. Air conditioner was on for our arrival. Everything was great.

"Free to air" TV reception very "iffy".
Clean facilities and comfortable beds in a recently refurbished room with a large flat screen TV. Only a minutes walk to local club which offers motel guests food & drink at member's prices.
