2 bedroom apartment was huge, so nice to have space to spread out. The on-site parking was excellent and great to be able to leave the car for the whole day after checkout, really good service.

The room was very dated and worn around the edges. I think renovation work is being done, but the room looked tired. The jets in the hot tub didn't work, but I didn't expect to be getting a hot tub so I really couldn't complain! I'd have liked a proper duvet (even a light one) and bedding which wasn't from Kmart. It cheapened the loom somewhat. The swimming pool was closed :(

Hugeeeee room! Absolutely massive. I counted 13 different seats! I was absolutely flabbergasted to find so much space in such a central location. The building itself has a lot of character, and there are so many places to eat and shop nearby. The staff were friendly and responsive, allowing me to check out later, and arriving promptly to assist me with a room key that wasn't working properly. I was very impressed by that.

The WIFI was extremely unstable and I wasn't able to work from my room during this business trip, or even watch TV for relaxation. This was pretty frustrating.

I had to chase up process using contact number for key pick up for a Sunday evening arrival. Didn't have any proactive contact about this issue. Would be good to have more detail prior about arriving at carpark but also process of leaving the car park for the first time - went up the wrong lane on my first departure, got stuck and had to use the call button for help. Quite straightforward once you know you have to use far left lane. All three toilets in the apartment were a bit dodgy. The master bedroom one needed several pushes of flush button to stop filling, same for cloakroom one. The one attached to the bedroom had to be filled and flushed every time manually. All three need attention. Curtains in master bedroom fell off pelmet on top of me when went to draw curtain one night. This issue unable to be fixed for remaining 3 days of stay.

Location was great and the car park and its internal access to the building excellent, an unexpected surprise. Great to have supermarket basically underneath building. Apartment 808 spacious and very clean on arrival. Lifts well serviced and never much of a wait. Staff at desk unfailingly pleasant but unable to assist with curtain issue. Good value and happy to stay in MacArthur Chambers Apartments again.

We were on level one and people from the building next door smoked outside our balcony doors and the walkway was littered with used smokes

The master bedroom had no window The master bedroom en suite had no ventilation ( no window and no fan) and a door that opened onto the main living area with no lock on it There was no one at reception out of hours or at the weekend- so when we came back from dinner on the first night and couldn’t get into our room ( because a mistake had been made on our check out day and time) we had to call and wait for someone to come in to sort out the problem

Access to Reception seems to rely on someone exiting so that the doors open. Reception advised that people knock on the door during Reception hours. Code and key info for after hours rntry was sent as SMS message which was fine and clear.

The apartment was totally gorgeous. Great facilities and presentation. Had a beautiful 1 bdr on the 7th floor. Spa bath with shower attachment. Needed to be careful getting in and out. Marble bathroom details. Very nice.

Being for NQ we don't like to cold and the apartments air-conditioning was working to warm the rooms ..spent a lot of the weekend feeling cold inside ..

The basics were clean, the floor, kitchen and bathroom. But everywhere else you looked hadn’t been touched in months, perhaps years. The cleaners need to be given time to do a deep clean. For instance, the top of the bed head was covered in dust and there was a thick layer of grey dust around the edges of the carpet. Further there were black human hairs all across the quilt on the bed, and a long black hair on one of the pillows. I also found a used bandaid down the side of the sink, next to the bath. The lack of cleanliness meant I really didn’t feel comfortable in the apartment.

Great location and lovely staff. The size and layout of the apartment is great for one to two people. It has everything you could need.

As above. Not sure what the extra 100 charged was for.

Proximity to Queen Street Mall was suburb. Facilities were terrific. No one on the reception during our entire stay was disappointing as I wanted to pay for my room separately to the room I had booked for my mum. Instead I was charged for both and also an extra 100 for what I’m not sure.
