AustraliaWe were in the north tower on the 15th floor, right next to the trash Shute, every time someone in the floor above you puts something in the Shute that’s all you can hear all night long and early morning as it’s travelling its way down to the bins. Paid over 3k for a spa bath with ocean view but can’t see anything when in the spa bath but buildings, was not high enough to be marketed as “ocean views”. Elevator’s are incredibly slow, sometimes you wait up to 5-8 minutes for an elevator, use the residents one. It’s much faster.
Love how central it is with Woolworths down stairs, just a short walk to the tram stop and the beach. Staff are fantastic, helpful and always friendly.

AustraliaHygiene - Marks on furniture, curtains, towels. Dead bug in room, stains on kitchen and ceiling. Needs a major focus on hygiene. TV - need to buy wifi but asked staff and they said ‘they don’t know and that we should hotspot’. The aircon can only be adjusted to bedroom or living room, we weren’t able to select both which was inconvenient.
Location is amazing, room had great views and was very spacious.

AustraliaEvery morning, we were met by a couple of new, but dead cockroaches on our balcony. They were clearly baited, though was not a pleasant experience, especially as they accumulated. I was expecting a little more luxury and maybe to stay a little higher in the towers to really get a great ocean view but overall, we had a great trip.
The room, bed, bathroom and Kitchen were all very clean and the facilities within the room were reasonably supplied. The location of the hotel was AMAZING! So close to food, a supermarket, and just a short drive or walk to some great attractions!

AustraliaNext door neighbours were rude and had pets in balcony which smelt heavily of faeces. It’s not a nice smell especially in hot weather. We could not keep the doors open or stay in balcony for that reason.

AustraliaOf the 3 elevators at times only 1 was working. There was little to no air conditioning in the elevators which made them extremely hot. The air conditioning in the rooms did not get very cold and was still hot in the rooms when the air conditioner was as cold as possible. When having a shower the temperature changed every 5 seconds from burning hot to too cold. Also in the room description there was supposed to be a clothes hoist as they have a washer and dryer but there was no hoist we had to dry our clothes over chairs.

AustraliaEncountered a few extremely rude staff. We requested a cot on booking and when we arrived there wasn’t one set up. We then called reception and spoke to a woman who was extremely rude and ended the call saying they would provide one. We left and came back to our room to find a portacot and sheets left outside our door. Or room was directly opposite the lifts also. Pretty disgraceful considering we required this for our infant. Also, there is no daily cleaning or any sort of room service available which was difficult with two kids. Whenever we needed extra towels we had to go down to reception to pick them up. You could be waiting for a lift up to 20 minutes so it’s massively inconvenient to just pop downstairs and grab some clean towels. No one came by to make up the beds or refresh amenities. So we had no rubbish bags left by our third day there. Asked reception if they provide any dish washing soap as we had a few things we wanted to hand wash (children’s items that can’t go in dishwasher) and again, met with rude staff and snide comments. Although the location and view was good, we wouldn’t book again due to all the reasons stated.
The location was fantastic and the view was beautiful.

AustraliaApartment was dirty. Soap empty in bathroom, only 2 dishwasher chemical pouches and no manual dishwashing liquid or scourer, food under chairs, empty beer cans in cupboard). Carpark was dirty and very smelly. No in room service (if you need soap, or the minibar you have to go down to reception (at that point you would pay half the amount and go to Woolies which is the same distance away in the same building)), and a few other small issues.
Great view/location. Semi-modern apartment. Good onsite amenities.

AustraliaWe were put in the north tower & often were waiting 20-30 mins for a lift. The hallways were not ventilated & my small kids were not coping. When we did get in the lift, they were so full that my kids were getting squished were suffocating with the force of people pushing in. I spoke to reception about the lift issue but there was no acknowledgment or assistance whereas our friends who were visiting with us were compensated for their first night in north tower & then moved to south tower. This was not offered to us. The sofa bed provided dipped almost to the ground. My girl is only 12kg & she slid into the middle as soon as we put her on. When i sat on it, one side dipped to the floor. Im 52kg. All of the beds were very old. There was no cleaning for the rooms provided & we were told the rooms only get serviced if you are staying 5 or more days. If you need any amenities (towels, toilet paper, washing detergent, bin liners etc) you have to go down to reception which is in south towers. With lifts taking such a long time, this was also tough with 2 small kids.
Cleaners were very helpful when we saw them in hallways with explaining the issues w lifts etc. We found out from them that one of the lifts was broken & wouldnt get fixed until March. Location is very handy withWoolworths next door & Coles 5 mins away.

Australia- Upon arrival room was only ready one hour past check in time and we had to keep following up rather than staff calling us and kids were getting grumpy and tired. There was no compensation provided for this -lifts took longer than 30 mins to get into. We weren't aware there were broken lifts when we arrived and none of the staff notified us - the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and sank as soon as I sat on it (and I'm quite lightweight). I woke up with a sore back - only 2 towels provided for a family of four

AustraliaThe room was old condition. Blinds didn’t work well generally untidy Paint flaking of the ceiling broken tiles in bathroom and kitchen switches were cracked lighting was old. Looks like hardly any maintenance has been done recently. Common hallway smelt of the garbage Shute on the warmer days Air conditioning in our apartment hardly worked at all. Tv and radio reception dropped out every 10mins etc. very disappointing as well stayed there a few years ago. General items such as hand soap was empty on Arrival.
Location was handy Staff at reception in lobby were fantastic to deal with. Helpful and friendly.
