Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was great value for money & 10/10 recommend. The only thing I would suggest is the rooms could do with a fresh coat of paint & maybe an update.

AustraliaRoom was dirty, bathroom was really outdated and balcony was too open to the neighbours - no privacy at all. Neighbours came back drunk and swearing and woke us all up as we were in a weird room set up adjourning us. When booking requested for a nice view - not sure why we couldn’t have a higher floor - we had no kids and are really clean. Bathroom and our room was really dirty and dusty - sheets and pillows had stains on. Wardrobe had a musty smell so couldn’t hang clothes up. Downstairs in reception was nice and the pool area was okay as well and really nice location. Fridge in room was useless and we were glad to only stay for afew nights. Rooms need a good deep clean and an upgrade - shower over a mouldy bath is unacceptable - tiles and grout was awful and old.
Great location and front staff were really friendly.

AustraliaHair everywhere, mould all through shower, A/C was extremely dirty and noisey and had brown drip marks on it. Pillow cases were stained, as well as the very cheap pillows. Marks all over the walls. Had to boil the kettle in the bathroom because there were no power outlets that could be used in the room. Tried to make a cup of tea, and the milk provided was frozen in the fridge. Hair in bed, only noticed when I woke up in the morning. Mould on sheets. Rips and holes in top sheet. Balcony was ok, but the outside A/C unit blew hot air on you constantly.

AustraliaIt’s the first time I’ve stayed at a Mantra hotel and been so disappointed. To be honest it’s more like a hostel than a hotel! Tired and worn out decor, and a musty smell make the corridors seem dirty. Face washers and hand towels are not supplied, and we had to ask at reception for these. It was not clear to us that this place does not provide daily housekeeping, or I would not have booked it, so no fresh towels, bed not made up, bins not emptied, thank goodness we only stayed three days. It was extremely humid when we went, so we showered more often than normal, so the towels were constantly wet. My mother in law could not use the shower, as it is over the bath, and it can be difficult for her to get in and out, so she prefers to bathe but had to go to reception to get a bath plug! Then she had to argue with the guy who told her that they didn’t have any!! Absolute nightmare. Reception were made aware of all of these concerns, but either didn’t escalate it, or didn’t care.

AustraliaThe whole room had a damp, musty smell. The bed felt unclean, and there were small bugs—disgusting! I could feel them crawling on me while I was sleeping. After sleeping there, my whole body felt itchy. The decor was very old and outdated, giving off a vintage vibe, but overall, the room just smelled bad and felt uncomfortable.
The only advantage was its convenient location and good customer service.
