AustraliaPokies smoking area and bar staff poor. Cleaning no urgency to clean up after customers. I had a coffee at 2pm Friday and was still sitting there at 11pm at night in pokie room. Glasses everywhere and smoking area the same. Poor turned me off the entire stay.

AustraliaParking. I was upset that a paying accommodation patron had to pay additional funds for secure and undercover parking. Your free parking is shared with the club patrons and being in Gladstone vehicle left all day in the heat is not comfortable to enter. I believe accommodation paying patrons should be entitled to secure undercover parking. Also I was not happy with free parking again as their is a club on premises I witnessed New Year Eve drunken patrons damaging other vehicles in parking lot. Not impressed as a paying occupant

AustraliaI got the phone call from the hotel , telling me that I have used the mini bar , but not paid for it . Everything that I have used ( only one beer , was paid for ) I have stayed there plenty of times , and never had any issues with them . It is a great place to stay , but calling me that I haven't paid for a packet of chips or a bottle of water was disappointing. Nonetheless this is a great place to stay when in Gladstone, next time I will just have to make sure that everything is counted properly

Lovely staff, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is small but welcome relief from the heat on a hot day.

AustraliaPayment for the restaurant for the evening buffet should be on entry, breakfast is optional I'm not sure how they keep track of everyone. The lady on reception was adamant we lock our vehicle up securely (which we did) but it left an uneasy feeling that perhaps we were staying in a bad part of town. We weren't eligible to go into the underground car parking as we were towing a vehicle that was slightly higher than the limit.
The buffet food provided was of high quality and variety and priced accordingly. Barista coffee was included in the Breakfast buffet package.
