We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Overall the rooms/apaprtment look tired, variable (feedback from other guests) - outdoor areas are not cleaned given density of birds landing on the verandahs Pool/ gym out of action for a day (maintenance)

AustraliaOnly concern was the restaurant. We had dinner there on one night and didn't think the quality/presentation matched the prices. We ate twice at the Grand Pacific and had an excellent meal both times, served by happy excellent staff. For convenience we ate in house again on our last night and the staff seemed happier and were more attentive.

United KingdomThe bed was very comfortable! There was a bath in the room, which was a nice way to relax after a long day driving the Great Ocean Road. The buffet breakfast was amazing! There was so much variety, and it was presented beautifully, too. The dining room was very spacious, so this meant it wasn't crowded at breakfast. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Superb location to the beach, river, and strip of shops and restaurants in Lorne (all a few minutes walk away), and just a short 13 minute drive away from the stunning Erkskine Falls.

AustraliaThe room was too small for an elderly couple with nowhere to put a case. The toilet roll was 3/4 used which is not a good look for a 4/5 star accommodation. There was one milk carton for our 4 night stay - had to request another one.
We have stayed at the Manta a few times and always love the location. The staff are always helpful and kind. The breakfast is terrific and value for money.
