The dryer was a replacement and didn't really fit. It was located above the washing machine and the lid could not be opened all of the way. Just awkward. No daily cleaning due to COVID and the restaurant is not open.

The location is great as it is in easy walking distance of the things that I wanted to do and I loved being close to the harbor. I particularly like having a washer and dryer in the room for cleaning things up after being in the bush. The kitchen was nice too for the times that I just didn't feel like eating out.

Water in bathroom tap very clunky and noisy. Also bathroom light switches were outside the bathroom, causing partner disturbance during the early hours of the morning.

There was no restaurant facilities.

lighting in the room is mood lighting with lamps no decent strong lights so couldn’t play games.Swimming pool entrance is via front entrance not a all inviting see people in costumes at front foyer.

location is good. it was very clean, staff excellent and helpful.

the Back rooms are noisy ,right in the backpacker night club district ,we moved to the front because of this .Not as bad if you have the door shut .

the front rooms had a wonderful view and balcony .Lovely pool as well .

We arrived at 1am very tired got the key ok from lock box as organized however the battery was flat on lock to room and so we had to ring staff at 1.00!am. Not happy. Not a good way to welcome tired guests. Why wasn’t the battery checked !!! Also next day staff programmed key fir checkout as day we arrived so we were locked out again instead of the day we were supposed to leave Not happy. Had to go back to get staff to fix the dates for proper key use.

There was no breakfast here !!!

The dryer did not work well. The blankets were not warm enough. The neighbouring hostels were loud until the early morning hours.

Didnt have proper linen no top sheet and only a thin cover.We froze as air con had no adjustment for temperature so turned it off and still was cold. It was a 3 bedroom unit with only 2 balcony chairs.

Great location beautiful view.Good size balcony. A rooms spacious with comfortable bedding and built in wardrobe. Very spacious unit with great kitchen. Location excellent.

Could not work out the logic of the air-conditioning. Despite 2 visits by maintenance, the dishwasher did not clean & made things frustrating by "baking" on the residue so that hand washing was very difficult. Parking is not included in the tarrif & street parking is metered from 8am to 9pm.

The location is ideal for access to activities, dining & supermarket. Spacious apartment with fabulous views of the harbour.

The building is tired. Bathroom needs an update. Noisy, but effective air con. Shower over the bath not great. Great to have washing machine although the spin was not working at the end of our stay.

Pillows were a little soft for our liking. 2 luggage racks would be a good idea. One person always has to put their suitcase on the floor.

This was our second stay at the Mantra. We like the location as it is very central to restaurants, Coles, shops and pubs. We like the relaxed, casual atmosphere and makes us feel we are in The Territory. We had a room with a harbour view from which we could watch the lovely sunsets or just sit of the balcony. The unit is well set up but would not suit someone who want to do a lot of cooking as the kitchen is fairly basic. The pool although not large is fine for a quick dip or to lounge beside. I like the fact that the lounge and bedroom are completely separated and that there is a totally separate bathroom. (not a glass wall).

room was dark and needs an upgrade carpet was worn and so was the lounge shower bath combo bit awkward and no hair dryer bed was ok two singles together needed an extra blanket as room chilly with a/c on which was needed to stop the room being stuffy

staff were accommodating Location ….close to esplanade nice walk track close to supermarket waterfront restaurant not too far a walk 10min enough kitchen utensils to make a basic breakfast …. minimal cleaning products supplied
