Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Pandanus guy took a while to confirm by email our transfer. I had to chase him up

The curtain runners were breaking off so curtain hanging off track in parts. the dryer door needed fixing .We had to slam it to get it to work
10 day stay so kitchenette and washer and dryer were great

The pool was too cold and not great pool furniture to enjoy the area( too much shade between buildings) We missed the top sheet in the bed. I must admit I was expecting more for $4000 for 8 nights, but overall enjoyed the stay

I was looking forward to swimming in the pool and it really was way too cold to access.
rooms were lovely and light, with great windows/opening doors and views across the the harbour. staff never faltered to assist in any way, always very cordially and wanting to be helpful. location was great to access everything we needed, in Darwin for the first time without a car!

The pool was freezing no matter what time of day. We'd hoped for a holiday that included lazing beside the pool but that was not possible.
Rooms were well set up and had everything we needed for our stay.

Carpet had stains, Air conditioning control - temperature could not be adjusted. TV was very small. Bed was a little hard . only one extra pillow provided in room - we had to ask for another. For cost of room it was disappointing not to have clean towel provided every couple of days or have the room cleaned. Some complimentary water would have been nice too. Chair in rooms was really uncomfortable.
the view was lovely and the room was nicely appointed the bathroom was large Staff were very helpful and attentive.

My only suggestions was a second mirror outside the bathroom to enable getting ready whilst someone occupied the bathroom. The pool was beautiful to look out but too cold to swim given the cold winter weather we encountered.

Smoke alarm triggered easily even with normal cooking (nothing burnt) and range hood fan on. Had to also open the doors. No one came to clean even though we stayed for a week
Location was fantastic. The apartment had everything dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, stove etc

Would have liked Ice trays in the fridge for the weekend when the in house restaurant was not open.
Almost everything although Happy Hour at the in house restaurant wasn't open on the weekend.

We had to pay for parking and wifi which I think should be included in the cost. The bathroom was very badly planned. The pool was freezing. We didn’t have a great view.
The location was great. Close to shops, cafes and restaurants. It was convenient to have a washing machine, dryer and kitchen facilities.

The room had a musty smell and the room dehumidifier water tank needed to be emptied. Extra charge for room service to be delivered. The hotel resturant was closed for dinner, breakfast menu was only available as a buffet

The shower was hot but pressure not good
Great location with lovely water and city view. Very clean, well maintained and spacious with a comfy bed. Kitchen facilities are excellent. Bonus to have a bath.
