Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

My room had a shower curtain - I don’t like curtains.
loved the spacious feel it has even though it is so close to the freeway - loved the spacious parking right outside room - provided bottled water was a lovely touch.

The hot water was slow to start and the water smells really salty.

The Wooden Door to the Laundry had expanded, so was hard to open and the bin in the Laundry reeked. We did have a large Cockroach in our room, which we exterminated, he didn't seem to have friends though, which was good.
We really enjoyed the spa, that was totally a bonus, (especially for my Daughter, who had been playing Futsal throughout the days). We also liked that the property was only a few minutes away from the venue. I found it to be an added bonus, that there was a free Laundry, to get the Futsal kit clean for each day.

Shower was over bathtub and required to climb in through shower frame, not ideal. Restaurant was closed at the time of our visit.
Room was large, clean & tidy. Bed was comfy. Was surprisingly quiet considering proximity to M1. Easy access in & out of motel.

The room was a little dark
The room was clean, the bath had been cleaned and sanitised prior to our arrival and complimentary refreshments were great too. Check in/check out was super easy as well.

Room was very nice & clean, had everything we needed. We arrived late, had a small issue with the T.V and the lady was super helpfull fixed the problem straight away, and air-con was FANTASTIC. It was pre-cooled for us on arrival.

Not the fault of the motel. Couple upstairs had a fight and the yelling went on for what felt like a long time!

Really needed the apartment instead we had to put daughter into a seperate room.apartment was still available online when i emailed to change the booking but nobody replied to me so i just hoped that it was but no such luck.perhaps check emails more regularly? Other than that, we were made to feel at home.even with the extra family around the pool for a bit.😜
The pool and staff were friendly.cleaners were fantastic.

The owners were really friendly, helpful and caring. The housekeeping staff were really friendly, helpful and caring too. After the housekeeping staff Melissa alerted Narelle to the fact that my daughter and I hadn’t returned for the night after a dance competition, Narelle called my mobile with concern if we were ok. My daughter has Epilepsy and she had had too many seizures for me to drive safely back to McNevins Motel so we had to stay at the competition venue that night instead. Narelle said not to worry about rushing back to check out, just to take our time as she was more concerned about my daughter and myself. This meant so much to me as well as Melissa and Narelle’ s concern and checking on us when we did get back to the Motel. Thank you so much. Kindest regards. Elissa and Sasha O’Donohoe
