How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Pool was tiny. The spa was a nice touch. Close to beach. walking distance to the bus and oasis shopping centre.

Checking in was a nightmare. Also, there are a lot of stairs and no lift or ramps, so it was a big struggle with luggage and pram
The pool was a lot of fun. The apartment had lovely decor.

There was no toilet paper in the toilet when we got there. The beds are also very squeaky any time you moved in sleep it would wake me up. The single bed had the same issue for my friend.

The garden surrounds just needs a tidy up. The spa did have a strange smell coming from it when in operation.
Easy check in and Lillian was very accommodating. Location was central to Pacific Fair and the Beach. The Resort is a little bit dated however it was very clean and tidy in the apartment.

Stairs from the basement to our ground floor apartment were a challenge as we are both unwell at the moment. It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit outside, not in the public space. Otherwise all good.
Clean, spacious apartment. Good to have our own car space. Wifi worked well. Useful items in the kitchen. Loved the pillows.

Nothing of note.
Free Wi-Fi in the room. Short walk to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Short walk to beach. Several days not needing to use a car. Hired Lime bikes on a couple of others. They were a great way to get around. Really helpful to have a kitchen and not eat out all the time. Lillian was a very friendly, helpful but not intrusive host.

Queen bed was rock hard. The apartment had a few minor issues, but nothing some basic maintenance wouldn't fix (e.g. fridge leaking a small amount of water).
Great location and price, nice pool and spa kept the kids busy, as did the close location to the beach. lots of shops within 1km - short walk or very short drive.

Would have been great if bathroom window glass had tint on it/was frosted. As we were on ground level, everyone could see into bathroom from road/entry and so we had to always use the blind.
Great location! Few minutes walk to the beach and about 10min walk to Pacific Fair. Nice big apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The apartment was on the top level only stairs you could hear the noise outside hard to get to sleep bed was to puffy way to soft the fact you have to remove your own rubbish it’s not my place they should provide it as like hotels do you get charged extra if you don’t take your own rubbish and leave it clean as like you entered it, it felt more like I was renting it and not for a holiday, staff well reception it’s like a ghost room never seen them even on Monday when I left so they could collect the paper I had to sign, the car park needs to be updated should use swipe cards so you don’t have to get out of your car with a key than jump back in to drive under, could have a bigger shower they have enough room, bedroom door to the lounge room didn’t shut properly needs to be fix, need to replace dining room chairs they have a dirty smell
Near to shopping centre and public transport and had car space available
