The location was perfect and the self check in was very easy. The Manor itself was absolutely beautiful and the room was delightful and comfortable! ( each room has an allocated parking space ) I will definitely stay there again if needed and would absolutely recommend to anyone needing to stay in Geelong CBD.

The heating was a bit difficult to operate, and I wouldn’t like to stay there in summer because the room hasn’t got air condition, so I think it would be a bit hot in the room.

    Location! Very close to everything!

Only 1 minor negative is that the shower curtain is a half length & water goes everywhere making the floor slippery & my daughter has a fractured ankle & slipped whilst getting out of the shower. Luckily she didn't do any further damage.

The garden is well kept & the parking area is conveniently at the front door. The manor is beautiful inside & out & spotlessly clean with good sized rooms, your own bathroom & secure electronic locks for each room & the front door. The share kitchen & lounge area are very large with plenty of couches & bench space. Again these 2 rooms were so clean with everything you would need to cook meals & relax. We will definitely stay here anytime we visit Geelong.

The bedroom had no reading lights for those who like to read in bed.

It was a lovely old building beautifully restored. The lounge was very comfortable and a pleasure to sit in. The kitchen was very well equipped and kept very clean. The laundry was a bonus with free washing and drying. Not having to worry about keys was great idea for room and main door entry. Off street parking in the middle of the city was available . Geelong sights were in easy walking distance.

can't answer your question about staff because there wasn't any. I think the rigmarole with check in was quite lengthy, confusing and quite daunting. I like to have a personal contact with someone when I check into accommodation. There could have been more bench space in the bathroom.

the property is excellent and in an excellent location. Free parking was a plus. The building itself is stunning and the furnishings are very tastefully done - leaning towards old world. The communal lounge was very peaceful and the kitchen was excellent. We will certainly be using Myers Manor again.

Not to say we didn't like it, but the bathroom was massive, bigger than the actual bedroom! Although this may just be from the renovations and plumbing etc, but we did think it would almost be better to give a bit mire space in bedroom. However if it's often used for weddings and getting ready, then the bathroom could fit plenty of people 😄

The decor was beautiful, we wished we had of stayed linger so we could appreciate the lounge etc a bit more!

Was keen to see the garden but it was full of orange bunting but I guess work needs to be done sometime. Other residents kept parking in our space but not the fault of the property just annoying.

Beautiful property, very comfortable bed and very well equipped kitchen.

Travelling from Adelaide with my wife and a friend to see my sister in Lara, Myers Manor turned a catch up with family into a historic destination holiday. We continued the theme and stayed at the Hotel Windsor in Melbourne for the following 3 nights.

There needs to be a light that is triggered by movement at the front door. Currently it is quite dark and possibly dangerous for some guests trying to enter the front door in the dark. The bedroom seemed much smaller than we were led to believe in the online information prior to making our booking. Difficult to find the property on Myers Street in the dark because of signs indicating that it was still a palliative care facility. The signs need to be removed and replaced with a Myer's Manor sign. No towel rails in the bathroom, but with a bit of effort we could hang our towels over the shower curtain rail.

The location was excellent for our requirements. Easy to access and great to be able to park on the same level as the room. Laundry and kitchen facilities were very much appreciated.
