Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

it was a bit far from town or any shops unless you have a car.
very clean and comfortable and i was looked after far better than i could have expected when i had any issues or concerns

I don't think this kind of shared accommodation is suitable for people travelling with pets. We felt very restricted in our movements around the place and spent most of our time in a ver small bedroom with our large dog.
The location was very leafy and pretty.

Not only the toilet even inside the bed as well lot of little crock roach.and I think they have bed bugs as well.because next day morning I found my 11 months baby have lot of red bitten spot.

Meg was really friendly. The common lounge room area was cosy, the furniture had such character, my 6 year old daughter was amazed by he old phone and the small rocking chair. The pool has a shade cloth at one end which was super handy (as I have fair skin)

The owner of this place is absolutely amazing. I’ve booked it for the lady two weeks and will likely keep booking it. Owners go above and beyond all expectations to ensure a happy stay

When we came back from dinner we have a few little cockroaches around the mini fridge and table.

I really liked everything. It met my needs completely.
This was a quiet place to stay. Perfect for me as I had been travelling nonstop for over 24 hours and needed rest.

The host was unapproachable demanding and unpleasant to deal with. The property is not set up as described and is basically a private home with bedrooms sold with no private facilities.

The general surrounds may be a "work in progress" but the actual accommodation could not be any better. Excellent bedding and linen, quiet and location close enough to town but also far enough away to seem like a country property. We would stay there again if a reason to visit Singleton area comes up again.

Meg was there to greet on arrival, the place is immaculately maintained, quiet, well serviced (coffee, milk, soaps, towel, wifi) & parking is right next to the room.

The pictures do not reflect the property There appears to be share two homes on a very messy uneven block, builder’s rubbish everywhere. Car park is difficult to access pathways are uneven and unfinished
Needs to be made clear this is a share house The front house is new and well fitted out but the exterior is a huge mess and very unsafe for children or older persons

The description given of the apartment did not reflect on what the apartment was really like ,ie no mention of shared bathroom, kitchen and a boarding house type arrangement. The gardens were not well maintained with nowhere to sit.

Everything, after arriving at this "Dog Friendly" motel, she was surprised I had a dog and wanted another $ 330 for the night. Buckets of dirty washing outside. Very messy outside. Didn't get to see inside. Refused to refund what I had paid when I wouldn't pay another $ 330. and didn't stay.
Nothing - would not recommend to anyone!
