The cottage was honestly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Everything in the cottage seemed considered and designed to evoke peace and presence. From something as simple as the lack of visible powerpoints, to the beautiful retro radio and lounge setting to the deeply peaceful clawfoot bath and fireplace. We arrived, went back in time for a few days to when life felt simpler and left feeling truly content - something rare in this age. Additionally, Sara the host was incredibly thoughtful and accomodating. Magical place, thanks for having us, we will be back and will tell all our friends x

The location was so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views to and such a lovely location to wake up to every day.

Whilst it was cold outside on these winter evenings, the internal gas heating is excellent and we loved sitting outside by the fire admiring the canopy of stars. The peace and tranquility, natural beauty, quiet environment, wonderful birdlife and superbly presented and equipped cottage are a treasure. We appreciated the warm welcome from Sara. The bed is super-comfortable and the quick hot water and pressure for the shower and bath are great. We highly recommend Nightcap Ridge and visiting Minyon Falls (very close) was wonderful, as were the hiking trails. We'll definitely be back. It's off-the-grid (i.e. no phone signal from our provider here, no internet and we didn't bother with the TV), what a pleasure to disconnect (You can drive a short distance up the road for a phone signal in an emergency). Thank you!!!

Perfect location to spend a holiday away from noisy city. Property was very clean and tidy. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Welcome by the owner was very warm and lovely.
