The hut was just a tiny bit small - not much room for luggage. The outside patio was great but with such heavy rain, we couldn't leave anything outside on the deck.

extensive property with beautiful walks, staff were personable, warm and welcoming. beds were comfortable, outside ensuite was delightful. Hammock and chairs on patio/deck. Excellent camp kitchen.

The sign-posting for the walks needs to be seriously updated as we got lost many times and heard the same from other guests when we came across each other in the communal kitchen. I am sad that there was no mention at all that we were on Kuku Yalanji country and the absence of any mention is consistent with the attitudes I came across from white people in northern Queensland. I am white too - but having grown up in South Africa under apartheid, before it was thankfully eradicated in 1991, I felt like I had gone back to the past .

    Georgeous location

We loved the location in the forest, although a little close to the main road, but that was not too bad at night when it was time to go to sleep. We stayed in the Ochre Hut and this was just fabulous, better than all expectations, loved it, had everything you need for the perfect glamping retreat. We also saw the resident Cassowary, she was very big and very lovely indeed. Sat around our own private fire every evening and at night we slept very very well, comfortable bed and all the night time forest calls were just magic.

This is not a beachfront/easy access to the beach kind of place. It is an almost 2 mile hike to the beach. No wifi in the rooms which is fine in good weather but we were unfortunate to get 3 very rainy days in the so-called "dry" season. There are many places in Cape Tribulation area nearer to the beach with easy access.

Beautiful place to get off the grid. Very cool seeing the local cassowary chicks. Very nice hike to the stream - water was too strong to swim there. Unfortunately did not try find the watering "hole" where it would have been ok to swim in because it was so cold!

    · Amazing! Out of the way and a lovely setting! The eco hut meant all sides of your place could be opened up and you could hear animals all day and night! Good separate kitchen with gas grill and cooker! Lovely and helpful family, Andy and Lynette was like a second family. This is the place to go in Daintree rainforest!

Very hard to find anything. It's nature with all the pros and cons, the latter including no outside lights at night, unpaved paths on the grounds and only occasional internet. Good for me, but you must accept this.

Great immersion into rainforest nature, while still keeping up a good level of comfort. Loved the subtle thrill from being exposed to wilderness, starting from having to use my torch at night when trekking back to my hut from the kitchen, to hearing all the sounds and to eventually also spotting Cassowaries or snakes in real. Loved the community evenings in the kitchen hut where basically everyone gathered for cooking, wifi and games. Same for the medium-level hiking path starting right from Noah Range. Andy and the onsite team are very caring and helpful in setting up for a fun time.

We missed some chairs for people who need a backsupport. The mice were very actif, especially in the kitchen area, but also on the second floor sleeping area. But we wouldn't have missed this experience.

The house was in a beautiful setting. Although it rained all the time it did not really bother us. The terrain with all the tracks seemed beautiful to us, although we did not hike there because of the rain and a lack of time. The house is centrally located in the daintree area. Although it is tourist season, there were (according to european standards) not that many tourists (which we liked).

The Hut had a few issues such as towel hooks too high for me to reach. The bed was lumpy but I got used to it. No broom to sweep the floor, didn’t find the phone charge under bedside until second day. That’s all.

We loved what we saw of the property in the time we had, The biodiversity, kitchen, chats with other visitors, vibe of the owners, and meeting like minded people. It was a fantastic experience.

If there was just one USB plug in the eco hut to charge phones at night, it would be handy. However, I totally respect the lack of plugs so that people fully switch off while in the beautiful surroundings.

Location is stunning. The creek and meditation hut are really peaceful. Good base location to explore rest of Daintree. The Eco Huts are well designed and comfortable. The outdoor shower facility was really nice. Hammock is a lovely touch. Kitchen had everything we needed and all the facilities worked well.

A path to the kitchen area would be nice as the ground was a bit squelchy. Also, while we were fine with self check-in we had trouble finding our hut because the abbreviations on the map - G1, G2 etc - didn't match the hut name on the board -'Amaranthine'. I suggest as an easy fix the map's 'G1' could be chalked next to the name eg 'Amaranthine'.

Wonderful secluded spot with clean and comfy glamping huts, and a private swimming hole (current too fast for small children). Loved listening to the insects and the creek rushing at night. The communal kitchen was tidy and pretty well equipped. Beautiful timber benches.

Couldn’t really fault our stay … we could see that the owners are constantly making changes and upgrading areas of the property to make it even more comfortable.

Fabulous! We loved our stay here so much we stayed an extra night. The owners were so lovely and came to check on guests during their stay, to make sure they were alright. Everything was so easy for the get go. The self check in service was very cute. We loved the creek out the back. It’s the best swimming spot we found during our trip of the Daintree. The thought and effort the owners have put into this property is next level. The bush walks are a must! We had so much fun discovery some of the spots throughout the tracks. I would recommend using the Strava app when you take off for your walk, we were so engrossed in talking we missed a turn and got momentarily lost. We stayed in the glamping tents and they were so cute and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the outdoor shower.
